I remember reading about keshi's upbringing as a musician in an article, and the one thing that always stuck with me is that he was actually a nurse before pursuing music full-time. This really inspired me cause while I also want to pursue music, I am currently a college student. When he said, "By day he's a nurse, by night he's a musician" that really hit me, cause that's literally how my life is (except the nurse part, since I'm still in college :p ). All that being said, the fact that keshi was able to become successful with his passion for music despite going through school and having a whole career in the medical field ahead of him gives me so much motivation as an artist. I've always had the impression that pursuing a career that requires an advanced education equaled putting music aside for good, but keshi has shown all of us that this not the case.
~I've been feeling pretty motivated lately, so here's to pursuing dreams even if they seem out of reach !

I’m really excited for thissss! I discovered Keshi in 2018 when one of his songs was on a random playlist I put on, on Spotify. From just that one song I looked all over the internet to find any/all music content from him-just instant love. Been in my top played every year since. Just watched the Head in the Clouds livestream and am SO proud to see the turnout and his continued growth. Thanks for pursuing music and opening up to us

I also went through a lot of frustration at the thought of not being able to make it as a musician and being stuck at the same level because I've always felt like I started music at a late age (at least to become a successful musician). However, you taught me that there is no need to rush to pursue what you love and that consistency is more important. People like you greatly encourage me to stay hopeful and go after my dreams despite not having parents as musicians or not having learned music as a child. Thank you so much.

“Don’t be afraid to fall down” really hit me up with a tears eye. I’m from Syria, a 17 year old who has his senior year of high school exams in 9 days. I didn’t study like I was supposed to. I ended up wasting most of my time discovering life, making friends, going out and just enjoying my time without giving much thought about my studies that kept piling up on me since the very start. I was introverted and was antisocial my whole life and only this year was I exposed to the many wonders of life. It hit me pretty hard that I was missing so much so I just went with the flow and kept on sleeping on my piled studies until Today. I really have no idea if I’m gonna be able to pass the exam, and this quote just hit me hard in the feels and made me tear up the moment he uttered it.

It’s exactly what I’m feeling right now and i think that its not an accident that I’ve stumbled upon this video. I’m currently an architecture undergraduate and a self produced independent musician. Like keshi said, It feels like I’ve been living two separate lives, one, music, im good with it and i feel free whenever i make my craft, the other Im not so sure but the pressure of my family and everyone else gets to me like i need to be an architect which im not really passionate about as much anymore as i was before because i’ve been stepped on that path. So i feel ya keshi. I feel like i am something more and i just wanna prove that when the time comes. 🙏🏻
