Yeah it's amazing how he's able to meet practically every one of his interviewees at their own level. Matching energy and vibes and all that. It feels very much like a conversation between idk, not friends but people who get along, even though it's also heavily prepared ahead and edited and not really subtle about those things either.

You can actually clean them through applying tape and removing it after like 3 seconds because its an adhesive and after removing it you could see the effect that is was alot clearer than before
It's really quite sad that when you hear her speak, she's clearly such a smart, funny and insightful person but due to her involvement in the adult industry she's been reduced to nothing else. She seems like a sound girl that took a risk at 21 and is still paying the most _insane_ price for it.
yessss, finally someone who is really respectful of every single one of his guests, no matter what he's the genuine one among so many people who cling to 'scandalous' topics just to get clout and views by asking uncomfortable questions, without making research
It sucks that gross men still make ugly comments toward her because they think that any woman who is in the porn industry instantly means they don't have real feelings and aren't real humans.
When she talked about getting into the industry because of the validation that gave her, as a very insecure person, I kinda froze. It's scary how much I can relate to that. It's scary how many times my mind has travelled that path. It's kind of a wake-up call, in a way. That I have to stop getting my self worth from men's opinions of me and my body. That I have to start finding it inside, in some way. I don't know how, but I think I needed to be reminded that it's not healthy, and I don't want to end up doing things I don't really want to do just to fill the void. I did not expect all of this when clicking on this video but there you go.
I’m very happy to hear that from you! The fact that you are able to be honest with yourself about this says that you are a strong a person, so I feel like you’re strong enough to find that peace within yourself. It’s a hard battle to stop seeking validation from others, especially men, I believe you can do it ❤️ Hold ur head up high! I also hope some day we can escape that norm of seeking for validation and being told to listen men.
Validation should come from your accomplishments, no matter how small. That feeling is much grander and long-lasting. Validation from people is short-lived and like a quick hit of a drug. Also, people suck and manipulate. You're heading in the right direction.
Years ago, there was this female coworker who was a good friend of mine, whose mother needed a medicine to stay alive. At some point she was not working for the company but we still were friends. At some point she had no job and she was running out of money, and she was horribly stressed about her mom's medicine and someone told her about the industry, and she asked me to be doing these things with her because she knew I was clean. I did not feel it was the right thing. So I took money from my savings to pay for her mom's medicine, so she never needed to do anything and of course, we did nothing together, ever. The good thing is she never was on tape and neither I was. Her mom stood alive for a few more years and then passed away. Now she does not need to do anything like that. In human terms this was the best use of money I have ever had for my savings. Now I know I saved her from the shame she would have experienced for being in the industry due to a desperate situation.. Now she has a normal life. After telling this story to someone, TH-cam recommended me this video. I finally realize what se could have experienced if I had not helped her mom.
We need more people like you, who are willing to sacrifice things for the good of others. The world would be a better place if most people were like that.
I'm in love with the fact that he's not like other interviewers. He doesn't ask disrespectful questions, if he has a question that he thinks might make the person he's interviewing uncomfortable or upset he makes sure to ask them if they'd feel comfortable answering, he doesn't walk around eggshells when questioning, and he doesn't try forcing an answer to make the content more "juicy" for more clicks. He's so respectful and respectable I love it!
Here's the thing though if she didn't do p0rn none of this would be possible no one would care about her on the internet lmao. She can talk all this crap about the industry but they made her
DadBod Game Reviews they made her but they manipulated her and blind-sided her as well. its like abusive parents u cant just excuse it because they ‘made’ u
I think he does does it when the videos are more about individuals instead of groups. He himself is a TH-camr and Emo fan of the people he brought in, and Mia is obviously just her.
She was a porn actress, probably the most degrading line of work you can enter, she knew whay she was doing, and this is the product of that decision. She sold her body and likeness for money on the internet. Boohoo
And why do we including shane in this? Iam not a big fan of him But i hope people Stop comparing individuals to others just to start a drama smh my head Edit: btw yes I did Smh like that on purpose Dont @t me
@@solidhutyr1815 it's just a fact Shane attempted to be like this in a way but ultimately messed up with it Anthony does it the best way and covers subjects with respect and information.
The fact that an ex porn star is saying she would immediately trade her life for a more modest life style speaks volumes. Selling your body for money is never a good thing.
@@farzan1958 Traditional values have been thrown out the window to the point that you’re the weird one for not watching complete strangers have sex. The problem is society as a whole.
I can say that without ever being one first, why? Because I actually have a brain that makes calculated decisions knowing of any possible consequences before I take action.
The problem is not her being a porn actress the problem was the way other people (specifically straight cisgender men) treated her like she was an object and completely dehumanized her
the moment she said "I consider myself t r y i n g" instantly made her one of the most relatable and honest people on the internet in terms of personality
Anthony is becoming so intuitive from these videos....The way he noticed her disassociation and brought it up in the most polite/respectful way is amazing
@Cade Taylor its part of being in a long psychotherapy process, I wouldn’t be surprised if at some point of his process he might have done the same thing. At the end of the video when he says to pass on the burden of his past to something it’s a classic psychotherapeutic excersise. In other words therapy has helped him a lot
A lot of comments are saying “okay but why did her parents disown her?” Ya’ll really don’t know what it feels like to have arab parents and it shows smh. family name and reputation is a *HUGE* thing in Middle Eastern culture, which is really irritating because when we make mistakes we wanna learn from them. But in arab culture you aren’t allowed to make any mistakes in the first place.
If anything her family disowning her and distancing themselves shows that they do not agree and associate with the decisions she made. Its the most appropiate way of dealing with this from a middle eastern / islamic point of view. She is an adult and shouldve known better, honestly..
@@random.user_2005 poteto potato, being a christian isnt much different from muslim culture within middle eastern countries. Especially in orthodox values hence why i used the ''/'' to indicate that. ON top of that she was raised in a muslim household, she is a christian currently. Also her being 21 is her being an adult. You clearly can tell what effect things have on you at that age. Also she said she wasnt hold at gunpoint but felt intimidated. Even then she could refuse whenever she felt like it. They just sweet talked her and she accepted the proposal of the contract.
@@random.user_2005 Yeh google gave me 2 sources on her family background, one might be wrong. But it doesnt chagne much honestly. Also even a 15 yr old knows that they shouldnt sign a contract without knowing what it says. The company isnt required to get her a lawyer, she needs to know the stuff herself. If we cant hold a 21 year old accountable for their own actions bcs they are "too young" where do we draw the line? Are 21 year olds allowed to have a house and pay rent? Allowed to drink? Allowed to drive? Allowed to have consentsual intercourse? She chose to do it bcs she thought it would be exciting. Like she said in the video, she only regretted it bcs it backfired. Its still horrible what happened in her life but she could have avoided all of it.
It really broke my heart when Mia said she cried at the girlfriends comment. It goes to show that no matter how much hate someone gets, they still get hurt by people’s comment.
It’s heart breaking to be viewed as a lesser human because of a mistake you didi while you were young. It reminds a bit of how germans viewed jews during the holocaust. Soo disturbing how someone can lose their humanity so easily
This isn't ment to be about M.K specifically -But an interview/exposé with a celeb isn't any less of a 'performance' than any other time the camera is on them.
I'm a Muslim, and I genuinely don't care about the video she made. Everyone makes mistakes. No one is a saint. All those who sent this woman death threats are delusional that they're God's messengers on Earth. None of them are, none of them ever will be and just generally no one is. Islam is a guidebook that we live by. No one gets to enforce it. Live your life and do your thing the way you want to, do good and just live for yourself. This is how I view anyone who has any religious affinity or spiritual one, it's your thing, no one else's business. If someone, somewhere insulted your religion or spirituality or sexuality or w.e that you identify with in any way then just do good by what you believe and show the good in it, rather than sending death threats to those who don't agree. I'm sorry for any skewed image of Islam. It's not so aggressive and lethal, it's actually quite peaceful. And obviously Isis is not a representative of Islam. Would be nice to interview people of different misunderstood religions, that way we understand more? Idk I think it would be cool to watch. I'm kinda impressed by Mia though, for taking a step back when she knew what she was walking into / led to was a trap and doing what she thinks is right, rather than giving in. Good job, girl.
Yeah its kinda weird too how some people who claim they are close to their god, are “good”, and are very religious... turn out to be the most judgmental and scummy people you will ever know
@@gillbates1439 Like I said, delusional that they're God's messengers on Earth. It's sad to see them stray so far off what literally any religion preaches only for them to do exactly the opposite of what it says, which is usually to be peaceful, respectful, accepting, mindful and forgiving. People forget to be kind in the quest of being righteous, which turns them into fanatics.
Your understanding and acceptance of different belief systems is quite admirable. I hope your comment is read by those who need to see this message right now. 💜
I'm a Muslim, and I remember being in high school wearing a hijab and boys would scream "Hey Mia Khalifa!" At me down the hall. It was humiliating and detrimental to me as a young Muslim woman and many others I bet. I do feel sorry for her listening to her side of the story. But those behind it seriously need to be held accountable. Edit: I am NOT blaming Mia. She's so strong for going through all the hate for her mistakes. She is the victim here. And I wish her the absolute best!
"Don't be sad allah is with us,if allah is with us then who is against us?" _Dr zakir naik Erdogan also said this but I dont like erdogan he is a hypocrite.
To be honest, instead of her adult industry history, she should be famous for her great and funny personality. I've never seen someone so naturally charming and honest before.
Its incredibly difficult to crossover into mainstream after going into the adult industry. Most people never ever crossover and they are never considered legitimate outside of sex work. It's sad.
Mia just seems like the most kind and genuine person. She does not deserve any hate when in the end she did nothing wrong people attack her because of their own insecurities and it’s sad.
nothing wrong when she disrespected a whole religion? shes not muslim but shes from lebanon a muslim country. she knew what she was doing. theres no one insecure and jealous of what she has achieved.
@@loujainloosingit she didn't attack Muslims, the person who made her do the scene attacked Muslims, they knew she would do whatever for validation and they took advantage of that.
I really felt super emotional when she said that. I suffered really bad acne and didn’t have the curves girls had. So when as I got older I started receiving a lot of men’s attention. It felt so validated when I got compliments. And because of that I got into really bad relationships and situations because of how naive I was. Super glad and proud she got out of that mess. She’s so cool and pretty
Where is this written that only men run porn industry.. it was never like that.. i pretty sure there is female porn producers (or director) in the industry.. i agree that sex workers are looked down on.. i agree this need to change.. for both male and female sex worker.. not only female sex workees

Glad that she's moving on. Didn't like her justifications though. She said "what 21 yr old thinks before doing anything major?" Not one of my friends doesn't know the consequences of doing porn
I’m reading the comments here and they are completely different from the comments in other news interview videos of her I’m so proud to be here with people who are not toxic or rude
its mostly people who agree that the things that people (men and women) go through is wrong and nobody should go through that (rape etc etc) and people kinda slut shaming mia for going into that line of work but really they just bring up money and not what some people go through during the Adult Films
@@strudelh but there are a shit ton of comments with thousands of likes who are saying men are bad and shit. (One for example is pretty much implying that men are the only one who rape and don’t understand what “no” means with 1.6k likes)
There are people who hate her just because she made porn, and people who hate her because she talks about the negatives and exploitive nature of the industry.
Nobody hates her nowadays, people just always wanna make jokes about her past, mostly boys not the hate typa way they just wanna gather some likes on the internet. It's the truth
I disagree with her view on Onlyfans. I think the whole industry is bad regardless. I've heard stories of Onlyfans models who felt like they were taken advantage of and had regrets too. And the whole thing about just being able to take it down isn't true. I know it sounds like a cliche but once you put something out on the Internet, it's permanent.
Yes, but it’s easier to enforce your rights regarding something you fully own. The law is so far behind when it comes to autonomy and being in control over your own face and body on the internet. At least for most OF girls, (except for pimps who own the account) they have their own autonomy over their work and are self employed. They cannot be exploited by a boss or corporation.
I feel bad for her, this shows how people dehumanize pornstars completely. They still have feelings, lives, they still fall in love. She isn’t victimizing herself. EDIT: not talking about her crying on twitter for months, but the harassment and bullying from people of her culture and people not of her culture but choosing to disrespect her just because she was in porn for like a year and she’s not victimizing herself by saying she’s not just a porn star.
@James Varner you are entitled to your opinion, but do you not believe in compassion? Basic human decency? Helping others? What kind of heartless creature are you????
I feel bad for her, but at the same time proud of her for bailing out and standing up her ground ! People should definitely learn from her mistakes and dodge bad contracts ! I hope she has a great and peaceful life !
matieking she is one girl who made a mistake when she was young and is going against a billion dollar company who gives a shit on how much she made, there was a lot she couldn’t talk about because of legal reasons. Get this hate out of here
NERD_NATO That’s not fair. Imagine if a judge tells you in court “yeah I here ya but that doesn’t mean your word means as much as those making the allegations”. Thats flawed and dangerous logic. I don’t get what your not seeing.
I literally always thought she was just a huge porn star???? She only made 11 films???? That’s all????? I kinda love her now. *edit* to everyone asking, I wouldn’t care if she made 111 😂 she deserves respect & she obviously is trying to separate herself from her past
She also make her self a patreon with similar content. Ans has done awful things.. she is not that great of a person, although... what awful creepy people has done to her is also pretty bad.
Thank you for giving her this platform to be herself non-judgmentally. This might not necessarily fit your target demographics but I would love to see Monica Lewinski be given a platform to tell her story non-judgmentally cause she had it rough too after what happened, but she's gone on to do lots of great things now.
i love anthony and his content but i hate that he uses “wondrous” in most of the videos for this series. it really rubbed me the wrong way when he used it for the DID video and coronavirus survivors. i feel like he should use a different word or just omit it.
Mia khalifa was in fact so traumatized by the Industry that she totally forgot to stop posting on her OnlyFans and forgot to change her Industry name to her original name!
I remember when kpop fans helped Mia remove her videos from adult pages because she said she liked a kpop group And she super cute and funny I like her
@Nathan Greyare you calling people who do porn as a job stupid if so that's pretty closed minded and ignorant also I do agree that you can't remove anything fully from the internet but she shouldn't still be prosecuted for actions she did when she was younger especially if she's shown growth and matured over time porn actresses and actors are still human they don't deserve disrespect because of their profession
I really feel safe here, Anthony is so respectful and is sucks that we really have to find people that have this basic respect, but it really does mean a lot
I actually wrote a paper on predatory contracts in the porn industry for my Economics and Law class at UF. It is a serious issue and I feel like nobody talks about it, because people don't understand and there is such a stigma. We need to be doing more like Mia said to help empower young women to have full control of their lives and any content they create.
Pretty sure she's been exposed for even renegotiating her contract and does make royalties like bangbros which is 1 of 4 companies expressed that shes made over 100k+ from them alone sooooo
Yep and for every empowered woman who loves her body and wants to make money, there are five more doing it out of desperation, or like Mia, or bc they’re hooked on drugs, or in some other really bad place. I’m not saying that’s true for everyone, but it’s the most vulnerable people who are going to be taken by predators. I wish it could be better regulated so it would be all or at least mostly women who were in control of their own content and who would get royalties on videos/scenes that get over a certain number views, even if just a small amount. It’s honestly insane that they don’t and it attracts women who are desperate bc why else would you get into that?
@@jaykera yes.. BangBros released their taxes and it showed that she has made much more than the 160k she claims she made as "community manager". it is closer to 400k after all is said and done, and that is just on BangBros. Her vids are hosted on 3 other major websites AND pornhub too, behind the premium.. she isnt this penniless orphan that she makes herself out to be.
I'm a muslim and for the longest time i could not understand why everyone hated mia so much, the same with other girls of my age at that time (i think we were 13 or 14) because when all this happened, we were pretty disconnected from social media so generally, we got the news from guys and now that i know about all this, i realize how fucked up it is that even though these were the same men who followed a religion of peace and love, refused to follow up with it's teachings. i absolutely hate it when people think their religion somehow makes them bulletproof and how they can't be judged like shut up you're not even following the word of God it's embarrassing. it sucks to see women like mia suffer the consequences instead of them.
K Will How does any of this has to do with a “whorish attitude” that’s bullshit. There’s no such thing as a whorish attitude. No one owns her body, and she made her own choice. She now regrets it, so in her perspective her choices were wrong. The scene she did was very questionable but has nothing to do with a whorish attitude. You’re already 0-1 behind buddy
Ikr like people are saying friends with Benifits like 🤦🏻♀️ I’m a girl and I think she would be such an amazing friend to help me out in girl problems and self esteem etc etc 😅😅👉🏻👈🏻
Mia is a really impressive person - not everyone is capable of moving forward from the stigma and cruelty she’s experienced, and she does it with a sense of humor! Honestly we have no choice BUT to stan ✨ edit: y’all caught me, I am a simp... for Anthony 😫 but actually, I admire Mia’s resilience, regardless of her controversies (which I know are many).
Marina I relate to both this and Mia so much.
Same.
Glad that her example is helping us even here!
I’m very happy to hear that from you!
The fact that you are able to be honest with yourself about this says that you are a strong a person, so I feel like you’re strong enough to find that peace within yourself. It’s a hard battle to stop seeking validation from others, especially men, I believe you can do it ❤️
Hold ur head up high!
I also hope some day we can escape that norm of seeking for validation and being told to listen men.
Be strong chick, you are beautiful.
❤❤❤❤
We need more people like you, who are willing to sacrifice things for the good of others. The world would be a better place if most people were like that.
I’m not reading that, nope.

@Nathan Grey wth, at least they tried, and ur basically being a "little" close minded and ignorant.
@Nathan Grey you're so shallow minded lmao.
That makes me so proud. :’)
The comment section made me gain back faith in humanity

Oh my God it feels like you can talk to her all day and still not get bored. Such a warm person to be around!!!
I really feel safe here, Anthony is so respectful and is sucks that we really have to find people that have this basic respect, but it really does mean a lot

she’s so well spoken and intelligent and i really, really respect her.

@@cloverrover2824 She is well-spoken. I've seen other influencers speak with the vocabulary of a 5yo. Like Jake Paul for example.

Well no shit Sherlock
I actually wrote a paper on predatory contracts in the porn industry for my Economics and Law class at UF. It is a serious issue and I feel like nobody talks about it, because people don't understand and there is such a stigma. We need to be doing more like Mia said to help empower young women to have full control of their lives and any content they create.
Yessss so many of these practices are not acceptable in ANY human management practices but yet somehow these industries get away with it.
@@MarkOfTzeentch she claimed she made a few grand only 😂

^^^ THIS
K Will How does any of this has to do with a “whorish attitude” that’s bullshit. There’s no such thing as a whorish attitude. No one owns her body, and she made her own choice. She now regrets it, so in her perspective her choices were wrong. The scene she did was very questionable but has nothing to do with a whorish attitude. You’re already 0-1 behind buddy

Mia is a really impressive person - not everyone is capable of moving forward from the stigma and cruelty she’s experienced, and she does it with a sense of humor! Honestly we have no choice BUT to stan ✨
edit: y’all caught me, I am a simp... for Anthony 😫 but actually, I admire Mia’s resilience, regardless of her controversies (which I know are many). I don’t think I’d have the same fortitude if I were in her shoes!
Also Jon Ronson did a really great series about the cruelties of the online p*rn industry (especially for the women who work in it) called The Last Days of August, I highly recommend !!
