nice video! i miss owning films and shows or games because it also was kind of part of a collection and a representation of yourself. i still to this day will make physical cds for all my friends who get cars with a cd player because i think its better than just linking someone a spotify playlist that will get lost in their library
The good thing is that most people still buys phisical games. Companies will claim that digital games sell way more than physical games by also counting DLC and digital-only games with digital games. In reality, over 60% of games are bought physically, when gamers have the choice. If you count the generated revenue, of course digital will sell more, it has the most games and DLC and considering this, it's more impressive that physical games still contribute 30-40% the revenues. In France, over 50% of all games are bought physicaly, so it's still looking good.
i bet some of it is becuase they use to use dvd with one of those rca 2 in one dvd player and tried a streaming sevice movie look beetter and then forogot about it
Previews on physical copies are ads, but the difference is that they're all before the content rather than inside the content. I love physical media. Also, live service games can be fun, but not when they're the only games. I love Fortnite and Splatoon and Final Fantasy 14, but that's it. I'm fine with just those ones and don't need to look at any others lol.
0:10 not that subway ad 💀
