I love the idea of him building a ship for each dark god, but not sure if it fits thematically with this campaign. And such a design would be almost purely thematic. Maybe in a different campaign after this play through of Neter?

I realized what the issue with the Bloodthirster is. The campaign management dev decided to alter the air density values of Neter as well as the gravity. The air density now scales to 750m, and as such the exact values you were used to before are now different.
Yggdrasil is indeed the World Tree of Norse mythology and the details you gave are accurate. The 2.0 patch seems to have made the fort's skydock actually look decent, but I'm still planning on replacing that part.
Something I should note is that fuel injectors for CJEs have been buffed for some reason, not sure why. This has resulted in some designs which use CJEs to have way more thrust than intended and at least two designs are currently acting weird. Spawn in the Valkyria for GT and watch it go wild while you can.

I love the 4 Gods idea. You could have Khorne be a ship overloaded with cannons to slaughter. Nurgle could be a large bloated tank vessel with missles. Tzeentch would be a laser rave party goodness craft. Finally Slaanesh could be a hyper fast melee monster that shreds ships with glee.

A wind of revolution has swept Neter, and the perpetrators of this aren't the Blood Guard for once. We don't know the exact causes nor most of its consequences but some already caught our attention. The thunder-like rumble of our cannon fire was first to be noticed, then the resistance of our steel, feeling much bulkier meaning turrets no longer crumbled after being looked at the wrong way. Reports from the Cordale front have shown our torpedo bulges standing up better to torps and with their visibility increased, have made long-range torpedo assaults from the Twins almost impossible, with our captains swirling between unguided salvos. But that is just the tip of the iceberg. The Watch and our allies have yet to discover more changes with this new dawn... Oh wait. What if its another attempt from the Scarlet Dawn to terraform Neter once more? Nah, the Dawn want Neter, but they wouldn't turn the entire Neter into... Foxmere Island. Would they? Hum... That's what the Blood Guard are here for. To prove this theory. When they are done with the Talons, they'll either strike the Twins, the Steel Striders or the Dawn. Hopefully. And we know they'll win. To all that read this when I shall be no more, you must remember the Watch and Lathrixians, the union of blood and iron... are the good guys in this story.

The Malal’s Will in this episode, especially the fight against the Warlord, seems very much like the old battleships present during the D-Day landings. They were nicknamed “The Old Girls” if I remember correctly, and there were 4 of them. There job was to trade shits with the Nazi shore batteries, and to eat shells for the smaller ships. They were expecting to lose 2, maybe 3 of the 4. But, or course, the initial barrage from the Allied fleet destroyed all the spotting positions for the Nazi guns, resulting in them not even hitting a single one if the battleships.
Lath! I subscribed to your channel quite some time ago after watching one of your From the Depths videos, then subsequently watched pretty much all of them in the span of a week. You're definitely my favorite youtuber and your content is continually getting exponentially better with every video. Keep up the great work :). Also From the Depths is my favorite game now because of you. Also Also, you should make another battleship, like another multi-episode building battleship because they're cool and because of the update it's a lot easier to do.
Lathrix should do a (fresh) campaign only using captured enemies and modifying them (just like he is doing right now), please lathrix that would be awesome :D!

The Nurgle vessel should definitely be slow, tanky, and use large cannons or missiles. Name could be Terminus Est, Bubonicus, Plague Bringer, or something similar.

Yes please, we need more building videos. I very much miss the tutorial videos Lathrix had done. Battles can be a bit stale since the blood gods fleet is too expertly built. Themed ships would be a refresher

You are right, lathrix. Yggdrasil means "tree of life" in ancient norse. It connects the nine world's and when it fall, ragnarok will come.

I like your chaos fleet idea, The Tzeentch one could be particle cannons, the Khorne one could be rams, The Slaanesh one could be swarm missiles, and the Nurgle one could be Cram Cannons
What about a verry slow water ship/platform named "Poseidon" (owner of the sea) that is just a cramcannon beast. As the second ship a fighter jet named "Hermes" that is ridiculously fast with strafe runs of bombs. As thirth ship a ship named "Thor/zeus" (god of the lightning) with 1 verry verry strong particle cannon (or multiple weaker ones) and as 4th ship one mean mean ship (almost black collored with red) called hades (ruler of the deaths) (brougth live to the word eater again) a ship that makes tini kind of like dragonclaws (sub vehicles) that he keeps sending over and over again upon their death.

Yggdrasil: (yig-dra-sil) The World Tree, the fabric which holds the entirety of the Cosmos, holding all of the worlds within all of Creation within it's branches. The Branches also represent the path between worlds.
The latest movies in relation to Thor and The Avengers covers the brief overview of the general bullet points, pay attention to the stuff in relation to "The Rainbow Bridge" which is the power source for the Teleporter they use, said Teleporter launches them along aforementioned branches.
Fun fact: Loki falls from the top of Yggdrasil to the bottom when he lets go at the end of Thor, which is where he met the other Creatures.
khorne's rage, Nurgle's rot, Sleeesh's lust, and Tezzeratch's knowledge would be cool names for ships!

Lathrix if you are going to make that fleet make them really op but only have them defending bases. They will be like a last line of defense or a elite four.
Hey lath, i think the choas god theme is getting a bit dull, i would you consider changing to maybe an ork themed fleet next campaign? With a lot of bare metal and really bright colours and checkered patches! And then you dont have to strain yourself so much because you dont have to build enormous ships... Just a lot of smaller faster ones! Anyway please like to let Lathrix see this :-) WAAAAGH!!

You should definitely make a fleet of the 4 Gods. Something that will be interest is if you make each ship main a different weapon systems. An example would be to make the Khorn ship murder its enemy with something super brutal like laser!

The warlord seems a good fit for you considering how much it already looks like a chaos battleship. As for suggestions, maybe some kind of under-slung cannon? It seems a bit feeble against surface ships, especially if they get underneath it.
I've also had issues with the PID recently, I made a flying craft and got it working just fine, it flew well and stayed balanced but every now and then it'd suddenly lose altitude before correcting itself, sometimes even dipping into the sea from 200m high stable flight
You managed to get everything correct expect the 'big' part. It's not big; it's infinite. The top exists. The bottom exists. The only way to get from one to the other is magic. No matter how far you climb, there is more tree.
I would love to see a fleet dedicated to the gods! Maybe have the ships called the Phoenician, the Terminus Est, the Conqueror, and the Prospero?

I like the idea of the divine fleet :P but the weapons need to represent the gods as well. Advanced cannons for corn, ridiculous amount of missiles for slanesh, lazers/particle for zeech and cram cannons/nukes for nurgle
I think all major dark gods should have a flagship dedicated to them. These ships are either older designs remade or completely new ones. If possible these Ships should be leading a fleet too.
Slaanesh has always been my personal favourite.
ive run in multiple FTD tournaments in a glorious purple and gold paint scheme.
Always using explosives. cause removing wheels and barrels makes things weak and vulnerable. and slaanesh doesnt want to KILL. oh no. he want more to submit to the glory of excess and vice!

Maybe make them your four powerful capital ships? I like the idea of making the craft suited to the character/attriibutes of the gods. For example, one is more tanky, one is more long ranged, etc.
Either way, you should make at least 2 of them airborne. "I'm going to focus on airships".
Make them powerful. Don't just make them a "next step up" like you usually do. Make them stand out as capitals. One for each corner of the map?
What from the depths needs t do is allow ships to tell other ships to tell where the enemy's are like GPS but to balance it make it either super weak and take multiple ships/satellites to provide accurate information or make it take variable engine power the more the better (settings set by player) or both, more satellites/ships and more power = more accurate info
Of course to balance it it would be you would need more satellites and more power for each ship without their own detection system that is being provided with satellite info
This system could keep ships running after their detection system breaks or keep them running without one to play it safe

I like the idea of having four in a group, you could make them more or less powerful depending on which god they are. (I don't really know if some gods are more powerful and some less but it's just an idea)

Hey Lathrix, maybe not really related to the series, but could you please do a series of tutorials on things like cannons and especially detection systems? That would help me and probably quite a few other new players a lot :)
I love From The Depths. Lathland, I think it would look cool if you made an elephant hood ornament on all your laser focused craft. Then, you could fire lasers out of the mouth or trunk of the elephant. Maybe not the elephant entirely, but like an Asian elephant head that used the rest of the craft as the body. That's what I would do, it would look epic IMO. Then again, I love elephants.

I wouldn't mind seeing four capital ships based off of the four Gods, they could each be themed differently and given their own fleet to command. Possibly many small, cheap ships, there only to make them seem more powerful.

If you really want a challenge with the 200k battle volume limit you can kite multiple forces into one battle... Also most blocks got an HP and armor buff (wood only got an HP buff)
