Really hope you all enjoyed the video, something a little different for the series before the final episode! So.. what is everyone's favourite design out of the ones featured? Really curious! :D - For me It's the little dull but sturdy Plagueguard.
Could you play subnautica
I think you'd enjoy a game called Starmade. A lot of people ive seen on youtube playing this game also play Starmade. If you want to know more, a couple of small youtbers by the name of Lenscap and JW608 are your best bet.
Just a suggestion, but you might think this is cool: You should try doing a stealth based craft. Something that relies mostly on counterintelligence detection systems, and maybe decoy radar/sonar missiles, and blocks that offer a very poor radar return. I bet you could pull it off, if anyone can!!

Projectile despawning: From the Depths' way of taking away your keys until you sober up.
Another reason Top killers are Hit-Scan like Lasers or Particle Cannons, on opposite we have CRAM's that are still shit. CRAM's need "active aim" system that allow them to slowly change direction of flight (count as fuse -25% damage).
They need to add Reflective Armor or allow Glass to dissipate Laser, and lack of ANY counter against Particle Cannon is ...not balanced at all. If Rubber or lead would...that would be funny and interesting.

They should really make a campaign only for try-hards, so that the unfair creations are actually fair.
And then you could actually enjoy them. And not be like it feels to op, if the devs made one I think that would be the last thought on your mind.

“There are other designs out there which are better than the Nialiv” No, just no, the ISN-007 would be easily killed, the Warleviathan would die in 2 seconds, the TC-55 Would definetly die, HMS Ragnarok probably checks under its bed every night for it, there is no craft currently that could equal or destroy the nialiv in a 1 V 1

If the Ragnarök can turn its turrets in time and get some salvos off the Nialliv is definitely dead, because it lacks shielding, and munition defenders just aren’t effective against 36 shells per second

There's definitely some out there, I've played and chatted with a bunch of the FTD boiz n gals in the FTD discord for awhile now, and honestly, there are some true monstrosities in there that should never see the light of day.
People just don't get how much work and time it takes to make things from the Depths and how much you need to know and I say you did an awesome job even if some people say you suck.
When has anyone ever said his designs suck apart from the first few seasons?
Couldn't agree more. I have over 60 failed attempts at a descent ship. But i get better with each try. Just when you think its a good ship, you try your luck against the crossbones and "ill go back to the drawing board then".
Sjors - The game is pretty complicated, but it's honestly not that difficult to learn. Optimizing things to the extreme and building stuff that can handle Expert and Godly AI is very hard.. But against easy designs it's not that hard to keep up as a newbie.
It's easy enough to be good enough - if you want to be optimal then it takes *tons* of time. Sign of a good game I think! currently it's a bit unbalanced towards shields though, there was a big rebalance meant for 2.0 and we only got half of it.
I searched FTD, I got lathrix and more lathrix.
He is definitely the most famous FTD youtuber.
And yes, the game is complicated.
Which is why my flagship is called the tinfoil.
I had to go back and look at each craft again to decide. I like them all but the Word Bearer is my favorite. I just looks mean and mad maxy. The change bringer is my favorite color scheme :)
The Khorne Flake is the best because it goes well with a balanced breakfast.

This felt like a sales pitch and was brilliant.
I have a prefrence for mechs so those two were my favorite (with last years angry Santa included). The seekers and Korn flakes a close second and third, I like the death by a thousand cuts idea of many smaller craft annoying the enemy to death.
3 years ago you made your first video on From The Depths, the goal from the beginning was to beat the Quest for Neter. November the 28 will mark the birth of a new series. Almost three years later, you're almost done with the Neter Campaign. It's unbelievable how close you are to finishing the campaign. It's hard to think about. It's hard to believe into what the game, and this channel, has evolved into. The finishing of a the Quest for Neter will open a new era to this channel.
The new adventure has me still wanting to see a "Neter World Tour" playthrough...
Hey there Lathrix, even years later your videos and designs from back then are still amazing. Great job, you are the sole reason I have over a thousand hours sunk into FtD, and now I watch a bunch of your other videos too. Again, you're a great player and a great creator, and even though I know you probably won't see this comment considering the video it's on - I just wanted to thank you.
Lathland, have you thought of going back and doing a showcase on old ships from past seasons when you first started FTD? I think it would be interesting to see the old ships again next to the new ones
Randy Chartier I think a lot of old blueprints don’t really work anymore because the game got so many new updates to the mechanics.
Now I kind of want to see you change the Bloodthirster's never used flight deck area to hold the Bloodhound, it would be completely ridiculous.
Or maybe the biggest CRAM cannon in the game. Max everything.
The bloodthirster is just a mount for a dog with guns on its head.

Really does display a pretty high level of mastery dude. Being able to make all the complexity of the FTD system work for you. It ain't easy, lol.
This video always makes me super nostalgic, playing FTD right now, it's changed a lot, but it's still good stuff lol.
Watched this series years before I had a computer to play it on. Definitely inspired me in the builds I've made.
I miss these days. This is still my favorite series from you, and I really like your design.
I don't know your builds well enough to say if they are any good in terms of perf/cost or perf/volume, but you have long been one of the best aesthetic builders out there. Even today, your adventure mode builds are prettier than anything I've ever done by a long shot.
As for my favorites builds, well of course there's the fan favorite Khorne Flake and the Malal's Will. I have never built any sort of effective craft out of wood, and I would like to one day.
Beyond that, I'm fond of your airship designs. The Bloodfang, Bloodthirster, Medrengard - all great.
Probably a long shot, but it would be nice if Lathrix could return to the campaign sometime.

Totally didn't just re-watch this for the first time in 5yrs, I forgot how much artillery the Plague Guard lobs. It's amazing to see how far everything has come since then and how the general economy of the game has changed. Bloodhound in the current game would probably be closer to 1mil combined.
I'm playing the campaign and my most said sentence is "I wanted THAT!"
I really hope you'll consider putting this season's designs on the workshop, Lath. We've got a small discord of guys from around the globe working on a custom campaign (Helious, the experimental version is on the workshop) who would flip for a chance to try out some of your ships, and look inside at their internals to see how they tick. I don't think there's a person on the server who isn't a huge fan of yours!

just make a campaign about fighting the Lathrixian Legion, like there is a boss fight with his 'One fleet four Gods' theme to it, call the Fleet of the Four or something.
Harbinger Autumn log# 1579: Now the fleet above us cannot escape it is far too late. The Imperial navy sent a small fleet over to us but our small numbers compared to them won't do much. They sent a force capable of decimating us completely. We have truly lost even though it has been quiet on the southern front ,but it doesn't matter as the Imperial navy will wipe us. So soon my great failure won't meant anything. But maybe it was always meant to be this way my fate woven in to always loose. No matter how hard I tried i could not stop the legion ,and even if I did the Imperium was coming to wipe us out anyways. Well this has been Harbinger Autumn signing off.

I'm a long time/big fan! You say you're not a good speaker or that you're a good designer in a lot of your videos, but I have to disagree. I always enjoy your content, designs, and believe it or not but your commentation. Your videos are always very relaxing for me and I often fall asleep to them (not because they are boring, but they're almost soothing to me). I usually have a really hard time getting to bed so you've saved me many missed school buses. I originally found you through From the Depths and I found that you play a lot of games I take interest in. Keep up the good work, I may be one out of 203K but you have my full support!

It's a bit desynced, it doesn't match with the transitions.
So beautiful. This is the kind of hype I can get with. I didn't even remember what the hovertank and Medrengard looked like, but they look good. . . Actually I think the Medrengard is the most aesthetically pleasing of all the designs present. If they hadn't broken the game, the TestNukes would have been my favorites since they were such a sweet cacophony in action.
As it stands, however, Bear forth the Word of Chaos! The WordBearer is both visually intriguing and fun to watch in action even if it gets a little too f(r)iendly with the opposition at times.

I looked over them a couple times, and I really liked the seekers. Agile craft like those are always fun to watch, and I think it's pretty neat that they have unique AI systems. Good job on the series, by the way! I spent far to many hours at night watching it :)
They should make a super-hard campaign so you could use op designs as much as you want, but all you would face is other op designs (inspired by cgamer the II)

Hey lathrix I have a cool idea of what your can do you can make a torment which the views send you their ships and they battle each other and the last ship standing will fight one of your ships that is the closest class of ship to fight it and if that ship wins then they become a mini boss which people will fight the next torment you do but if they lose they become souls for the soul cage.
Medrenguard. It looks like a 40k warship. I like the durable flyer idea. Bloodfang a close second.
You should make a Nimitz class aircraft carrier for the Neter Campaign. With F-35C's,F F/A 18s, etc. It should have absolutely tiny advanced cannons for the Phalanx fire and maybe a single and absolutely MASSIVE Cram cannon or Advanced cannon
i have a prompt from the depths; lathrix you should build a aircraft carrier that goes into space and spawns little craft that ram into a target from space; these would have no explosive but would still be guided but it would have to be weak so it is not op

What are you on about?! The Malal's will is a beautiful looking ship... It keeps a realistic frame shape but instead of having realistic looking weapon placements it just has it spammed in a way that is just charming for some reason and that is one of the reasons people love it

All of them are very nice, though I think I like the Medrenguard or Blood Fang the best. It's amazing the Plagueguard is so low cost considering how much armor it has. WORKSHOP THEM!!!!! (please) I want to dissect and see if I can kill them. If not workshop, then maybe post them on the forum page? Your designs have come such a long way from when you started. They are easily up there with a lot of the faction builds, certainly in power if not looks, but I think they look quite amazing. Good vid sir!

O-ever-so-glorious Lathrix, leader of the Blood Guard and worshipper of Khorne. I come in peace from the cold lands of Coldon, back in Uuter, my home planet. I came on behalf of the Etelyn Nation and we Etelyns would like to sign a treaty.
Under this treaty and should your nation choose to accept, all warships including ours have to be able to accommodate a few points:
1°/ The warships must have their weapons visible on the deck. No more will torpedoes magically appear from under the waterline. Speaking of torpedoes, they must be only on dedicated torpedo carriers (destroyers or cruisers).
2°/ The captain in command of the ship must have clear visibility. No more will captains be locked inside a bunker inside the ship. If a ship where to sink, all of its crew members including its captain should be able to escape.
3°/ The ship must have crew quarters.
We, the Etelyn Nation, abide to these rules to improve life on board. It is by the worry of the life of our men and yours that we would like to impose these shipbuilding rules. We have indeed given you some inspiration to give your shipwrights a idea: they are british vessels named the... Hood and the Dreadnought. Should you accept this treaty, failure to abide will result simply in your warships simply not able to anchor to port and be refuelled and rearmed. Now you should do a battle royale type of video where you spawn in every single one of your creations at the same time and see which one is left at the end. Excluding the nuke and soul cage for... obvious reasons.
My favorite definitely is the bloodhound, I love it's paint and colors, it looks quite badass, it's Brutal, and the best good guys are the brutal good guys, right?
I would place the MedrenGuard (is it spelled like this?) 2nd just for it's looks, even if you're not satisfied with it's practicality and the battles it runs in, I really like the aesthetic of it, it looks like some sort of capital spaceship, and I LOVE capital spaceships (spaceships in general tbh)

I'd love to see a giant airship or flying fortress type vehicle that reminds me of the Battleship Yamato from the anime, with a giant laser system in the front to simulate the Wave Motion Gun.

i think you should make the metal shild drone bigger, as it much too hard to hit at this size.
