I just wanna say. I recently tried this two days ago and HONEY THIS WAS THE BEST THING EVER!! My wig looks like I just brought it!!! Amazing results!! I boiled my twice just cuz it really needed it. I love my results !!!
I tried it and it really does work. I was scared at first when I took it out the water it seemed more tangled but I gently brushed it out, let it dry then straighten it. Came out sooooo soft. The wig even feels lighter
I couldn't find any silicone mix near me so I tried this method and GIRL I was shook by how well it worked. When I first took it out the water it felt dry and looked matted but once I brushed a lil castor oil through it and let it sit to hair dry it felt so soft. I know its gonna look bomb after It dries all the way.
Thank you soo much, I needed this badly 😩😩 I tried fabric softener and it helped a little with the tangling. I was contemplating throwing it away, but I will give it a shot 🙌🏾
Hey! 👋🏽😁 I know your comment is a month old 😅 but I have a question (in the event that you’re a person who checks your TH-cam notifications, because I’m generally not lol.) But was your wig that you tried the fabric softener with synthetic or human (OR blended). I’m asking because I just recently heard about the fabric softener method, but I heard it was only recommended for synthetic wigs so I never bothered trying..
You are only missing one step. After rinsing, spray with straight vinegar to restore the hairs natural ph then rinse again. If it has a slight vinegar smell don’t worry when it dries it disappears and snells clean
Thank you I'm gonna try it with my mixed lace front today. I am one of those..."I got the money, I need to save!" Thank you for your direction I am sure it will work!
Thank you for such a helpful video! I got a beautiful 30 inch wig and it was human hair. It’s definitely needing a good cleaning and I’m gonna be trying this tonight. ❤️

After seeing this video ,I tried it. like now...and it was wow...the dirt's was just too much..the color of the water was brown...very deep.lol..Thank you very very much💞
I tried this, not even sure what happened but this messed up my frontal so much, the hair got stuck to the actual net of the frontal it’s like heavily tangled or maybe the hair is even melted into the frontal net? Not even sure and it’s crazy, it looks unrepairable. Wonder if anyone experienced this
Yeah that’s the first time I ever heard that happened on this video or even in general. I’m not sure how hair could melt into the lace unless it’s synthetic hair but as far as being tangle that happens you just need to use a wide tooth comb to comb it out but also be aware before you insert the wig into the pot it needs to be combed out, because washing tangled hair only going to knot it up. Sorry you had this experience though.
Would this work on a bleached blonde human hair lace front? I just got it a few weeks ago and it is already completely over processed and dried out. NOTHING works. I’ve drenched it in oils, creams, conditioners and nothing. It is horrible
I would believe so! Just instead of using any conditioner or co-wash, use shampoo/ conditioner that’s for bleached blonde hair (like purple conditioner ) or some sort so it’ll keep its color and won’t become dull.
I found this video and followed your instructions. I never saw so much color come out of my wig. I'm worried it will have lost it's shine and beautiful color. It's still drying so I won't know the outcome will be. I paid around 600.00 for it and it is dyed a non-natural color.
@@agathaanwuli2830 you can get Pantene & OGX at any beauty supply store and even Walmart carries it but you can use anything you prefer, it don’t have to be Pantene or OGX in particular

Yes I feel like it would work! I just use co-wash because that’s all I had to wash it with lol. But maybe co-wash works better since other people use it as well.
I do it when I feel like my wig needs a deep cleaning, so it really goes by how much product you put in your hair but I would say just to clean it every month.
