    The transformation is Bomb sis!🙌🏾🙌🏾 but please dont shampoo your lace fronts like that. You shouldnt apply shampoo straight to the hair. Always in a bowl of warm water and the shampoo mixed in it and just swish your wigs around in it. Tis the best way to preserve your wigs as long as possible.

    I love to see units revamped. I keep hearing people recommend that Aussie Moist too, I may have to grab some soon. That straight unit was a true transformation. It looked like a new wig when you were finished! The curly one seemed easier to achieve but you did an amazing job!

    Great video! Hairstylists tip: less friction when washing will make the wig last twice as long. And soak in hot water to help release the buildup then shampoo.. condition( reserves the texture and quality of the hair.. shampoo..then use a soft brush to deep clean the lace.

    • @FaithfullyAsia
      @FaithfullyAsia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It shouldn’t but it will really depend on the following two factors. 1. How the wig fit originally. 2. How much lace you started with.

    I am new at using wigs because I am a recent cancer patient. And I haven't had much luck picking out the right wig for myself. Can you show me what products I should use? I have bought a very curly human hair wig and I love it but I don't know what products to use on it and I think I cut off too much hair in the front lace. but it is the only wig I found that looks good on me I am recovering from the chemo and I want to feel good about myself. if you would like me to send you a picture of the wig I can. I bought it from amazon because I have tried to buy wigs from the places you say and I get the worst ever. I really hope you can help me. The wig is supposed to be a glueless wig. I hope you will help out. I need to know what type of tools and things I see you use. The type of tweezer to pluck the hair out and things I should be using. In the picture on amazon, the hair looks full in the front but I can't get it to look that way I really hope you can help out, please. Oh, and what type of hair dryer and hot comb are you using?

    • @FaithfullyAsia
      @FaithfullyAsia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s hard for me to help because I don’t know what wig you used and I don’t promote wigs from Amazon. Being a beginner it’s best you find a wig that already comes preplucked and all you need to do is put it on your head. I review many wigs on my channel from diff price points. Feel free to watch and hopefully you’ll find something you like. What I use to install my wigs are always linked in the description box below my video. I have an Amazon storefront that includes all the products you can find what I use there. Best of luck. ❤️

    • @FaithfullyAsia
      @FaithfullyAsia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes doll, silicone is what most “non virgin hair” on the market is treated with. Which is why most hair behaves well at first and then later starts to matt once the silicon has worn off. This will definitely prolong the use of your hair.

    You should definitely learn how to ventilate. I hated having to cut the lace off the front so I decided I needed to figure that out and it's very easy if you do it with a small latch crochet hook rather than a typical ventilating needle.

    Thank for this but I have a question - when washing the units you mentioned rinsing with cold water to seal the cuticles. Do human wigs actually have active cuticles especially if it isn't live? I thought cuticles are only live growing from the scalp? Just asking because I am not quite sure anymore. Thanks

    • @FaithfullyAsia
      @FaithfullyAsia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s a good question. I don’t think it would be any difference from the hair in your head since your hair is technically dead once it grows from your scalp. Same concept. I’ve always done this with my wigs with great results. ❤️
