    This method is a great way to revive your extensions if they've become dry, damaged, or frizzy. It's also a relatively straightforward process that you can do at home.
    *What you'll need*
    * A large pot
    * Water
    * A silicon mix (optional)
    * A pair of tongs
    * A towel
    * A hair dryer
    *Instructions*
    1. Fill the pot with water until it's about halfway full.
    2. Turn on the heat and bring the water to a boil.
    3. If using a silicon mix, add 3-4 tablespoons to the boiling water.
    4. After boiling the water, carefully place your hair extensions in the pot. Make sure that all of the wings are submerged in the water.
    5. Let the extensions boil for 15-20 minutes.
    6. Use the tongs to carefully remove the extensions from the pot.
    7. Blot the extensions dry with a towel.
    8. Use a hair dryer to blow-dry the extensions until scorched.
    *Tips*
    * If your hair extensions are significantly damaged, you may want to boil them for a more extended period, up to 30 minutes.
    * Add other ingredients to the boiling water, such as conditioner, olive oil, or honey. These ingredients will help to moisturize and protect your hair extensions.
    * If you're unsure how long to boil your hair extensions, it's always best to err on the side of caution and cook them for a shorter time. You can always burn them for longer if needed.
    *Conclusion*
    The hair boiling method is a great way to restore old hair extensions. It's a relatively straightforward process that you can do at home. If your hair extensions are dry, damaged, or frizzy, try this method and see how it works for you.
    *Additional information*
    * The hair boiling method uses the heat of the water to open up the hair's cuticles. This allows the moisture and nutrients from the silicon mix or other ingredients to penetrate the hair shaft, which helps to restore its health and appearance.
    * The hair boiling method is not recommended for all hair extensions. If your hair extensions are made of synthetic hair, it's best to avoid using this method, as it may damage the hair.
    * If you have concerns about using the hair boiling method, consult a hair stylist or other professional.

    Not to sound rude, but why would you ever consider boiling synthetic hair, any OG will tell you to use warm water or steam with hot water and dish soap (look up the video for the type of soap). That will ruin your wig FAST. I tried this method years ago and had my hair matted and ruined. For human hair, yes it works depending on how you do it, BUT not for synthetic hair EVER!!! I would recommend watching the TH-camr "GlamFam Hair & Beauty" love his videos. My wigs come out perfect every time.

    In your description you say do not use the boiling method with synthetic hair it may ruin it.
    I have seen someone ruin their synthetic wig doing this myself. Pretty sure not all synthetic hair is the same.
    Please do a test strand first

    I once tried this with my lace wig with conditioner in the water. I boiled the water and then took it off the flame. Dumped a bunch of conditioner in it and dunked my wig. I let it sit for about 30 minutes. It didn't work.
    It was just as dry as before I put it in there.
    Now this is when I used to use blonde lace wigs. I now have a color 2b. I don't think it was chemically colored. But I am going to try this method again with the product you recommend. Will upstate you with results.

    Question when we apply the second round of conditioner, do we rinse it out or let it air dry with the conditioner?

      Always rinse conditioner out unless it's called leave-in conditioner on the bottle 💕
