One of my favorite things about the Wizard is his love of Billy. The Wizard looks at Billy and he sees what he long hoped for: humanity at its best. It seems to have been something fairly consistent for him and why his desire to save Billy in Kingdom Come was so damned poignant. A father watching his beloved son being tormented.Waid and Ross really captured Shazam's misery at witnessing the torture of Billy at Luthor's hands.

If Shazam was changed that drastically in the New 52, that means Dr. Manhattan is so powerful he was able to strip Shazam of his powers and completely rewrite his history. To quote him from the Before Watchmen series, "I am limitless".

Achilles was a Demigod so in a way he could have ascended into godhood. However, he didn't. He died and went to the hell for heroes. Now, King Solomon was a biblical figure that in many ways throughout history has being refer to as the wises king that has ever lived and a god-like being. As a result, we can say that both of these figures can be use as gods to empower Shazam.

well since you are planning to do some DC characters i would love to see a beyond omega level of the mask, that would be pretty fucking cool.
This is a very nicely done video, with a wonderful collection of art from several generations of comics. You did a pretty good job of mashing up the two different histories of the wizard "Shazam" (Jerry Ordway's reboot made some significant differences from the Fawcett/DC version). When you explained the acronym, however, you missed that the "Z" stood for Zeus, who gave the hero "power."
And as far as the pronunciation of Vlarem's pantheon goes, don't sweat it. Those gods were made up by the writer of the story in which they first appeared.
One major nit-pick, though. The heroic alter-ego of Billy Batson before the New 52 is named Captain Marvel, and there were at least four versions of him. There was the original, who we met in Whiz Comics #2 from Fawcett Publications, and whose stories were picked up by DC in the 1970's, the short-lived post-"Crisis on Infinite Earths" version by Roy Thomas, and the one in Jerry Ordway;s "Power of "Shazam," and the one intorduced in Jeff Smith's "Monster Society of Evil," whose adventures were continued in the Johnny DC title "Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam." Each of these versions of the hero were named "Captain Marvel, and currently, in the Multiverse, the original is living on Earth-5. The only version of the character named "Shazam" is the one in the New 52.
One bit of trivia: The original version of the Wizard was, technically, dead. He existed in ghostly form on the Rock of Eternity and could be called to earthby the lighting of a brazier next to his throne in the cave in which Billy first met him. In "Captain Marvel Battles the Plot Against the Universe (Captain Marvel Adventures #100, n947, Fawcett), it was revealed that he wore a bracelet made of "Shazamium," an element not on our periodic table. This bracelet kept him alive inn ghostly form, but if he were to not wear it for 24 hours, he would disappear into nothingness. It;s a great story, in which Dr. Sivana gets a hold of the bracelet, puts it on, turns into a ghost, and blackmails Captain Marvel into helping him conquer the universe. You should check it out, if you haven't already!
Billy Batson is Captain Marvel. Shazam is Shazam. It's only confusing because they're trying to cram the idea down our throats that Batson is Shazam now.

I can't help but notice that the wizard's "word of power" was an anagram of Marvel, but then made Billy say "Shazam", because suddenly, that's the wizard's name, then called the kid Captain Marvel. That's a mess.

If they wanted to be ethnically consistent, they should have picked Socrates and Hermes. Shazah!

That character is "Cosmic Armor Superman". PLEASE ROB! Do a video on him. I would LOVE to see your take on the character. And your explaination on what he is and how he exists.

Vastly overrated is what he is, it's one of these characters built more on hearsay than feats, given the armor was destroyed the issue after it appeared by an Anti-Monitor level character it failed to destroy, yet somehow people who likely never read the story heard of it and decided it was the most powerful thing ever. It's not even technically the most powerful incarnation of Superman like some claim, because it was basically a Superman shaped Mecha made by Dax Novu the first Monitor (incidentally the same being it failed to destroy), then piloted by the fused together essences of both Superman and Ultraman (fused by basically Doctor Manhattan, or an identical character in every way at least). Put that together and there's not much left of Clark Kent in that equation really, SM1M in that respect serves much better as a ultimate Superman incarnation.
Okay. The cosmic armor is a "thought robot" that exists in an upper dimension, where belief and ideas is largely what controls things things rather than physical actions. The Overmonitor had witnessed Superman in the "germ worlds" that had appeared inside it, and as a reflex made both a giant Superman statue, and a super-people to act as shield between it and the Orrery/multiverse; the Monitors. Through their unknown amount of time (actual time; less than ten years, given they were created during Crisis on Infinite Earths, but in a place where time has no meaning; all the time there ever was) the monitors had stared up at the Superman statue and tried to figure out what it was, and they reasoned it had to be an ultimate protector, a last gift of some ancient early super-monitor, a sentinel to stand against the ultimate evil... and in believing this they not only granted the statue these ultimate powers, they created the ultimate evil for it to fight, in terms of Mandrakk the Dark Vampire Monitor, who lives only because they believe he should.
When Mandrakk is then freed by Monitor's fear of him and starts sending destroyer ships that attack all the universes, the mentioned fused being of Superman and Ultraman end up being sent up to possess the Superman statue, who have now become the Cosmic Armor, a thought robot who has Superman's powers to begin with, and who will adapt and increase it's power in order to combat any foe (this is largely where the various arguments for it being the ultimate power comes in, which it could be in theory, but wait). Shortly thereafter Mandrakk is released and battles the Cosmic Armor, each of them growing in power exponentially as their battle goes on possibly for an eternity, Superman eventually manages to throw Mandrakk out of the monitor-worlld for him to fall into the over-mind and be swallowed until not even the memory of him remains. In the process however the cosmic armor was wrecked entirely, it was blind and falling apart, after scratching in the words "To be continued" on it' headstone it died from the injuries it took from Mandrakk, at which Superman and Ultraman reappeared where they had been sent from before. Mandrakk meanwhile reappears at the end of Final Crisis, and is destroyed by an army of multiversal Supermen, the Pax Dei host and the Green Lantern corps.
So yeah... that's the cosmic armor. Due to it appearing in a reality where the universe is pictured as an orrery holding fist-sized globes, some belie the armor is bigger than entire universes... except that it exists on a plane were size like time isn't really a thing that can be applied (in fact it's size changes dramatically in the story itself, appearing a hundred times bigger than a Monitor at first, then maybe five times as big, then the same size as one). It's main power is instead of course the adaptability, if you bring along the Anti-Monitor or Nekron or the Living Tribunal, the Cosmic Armor will adapt to fight them and increase in power as needed, purely because that's what the monitors believed it should do, where it used to be just a statue. However the fact that Mandrakk destroyed it before he was cast out, while it failed to do it's job and destroy Mandrakk, while he in turn was annihilated by a small army of powerful but still quite "mundane" characters puts it's power in question. Mandrakk died easier than the Anti-Monitor did, and so was likely weaker, and he in turn was weaker than Nekron, and he in turn is weaker than Imperiex, and he in turn is in theory weaker than Lucifer Morningstar... and if Mandrakk destroyed it then couldn't Lucifer also, likely with some ease at that, as it's toughness obviously does not adapt properly. In the grand scheme of "this thing could totally rip the One Above All to shred" arguments that's one hell of an Achilles heel. Presuming the damn thing would have worked at all outside Monitor space.
Sacremas so SM1M Is the most powerful superman?
Other than the pre-crisis Superman around the Bronze age when he was towing around multiple planets on a single giant chain and destroyed a galaxy by sneezing then went back in time and fixed it, yes, SM1M is the most powerful version. Neither of them is really in continuity though, SM1M is a future alternate Superman that seems to originate from All-Star Superman (which is of a separate continuity) rather than be a version of any mainstream Superman, and pre-crisis Superman was determined in the Crisis on Infinite Earths to be a separate character who was then killed by Superboy prime in Infinite Crisis.

No, he was not. His father, Peleus, is a human. His mother, Thetis, was a sea nymph. She bathed him in the river Styx, but not his ankles. Hence him being invulnerable except for where his ankles are involved; that's how Paris shot him in the ankle with an arrow which wounded him enough for him to die.

Small nitpick. At 5:10 you say "The concept of the Octessence" when you meant Quintessence. Easy to mix-up, but Octessence is from Marvel, the 8 avatars of whom, Juggernaut is one of.

He said before he tried, but DC's tier system is far more convoluted than Marvels, so he couldn't do it in a way that made sense.
DC's cosmology is inherently different from Marvel's. While in Marvel level of actualized power and level of importance go hand in hand and you got a few omnipotent beings at the top and a pyramid of decreasing power under them, DC is more characterized my a multitude of different primordial forces with different roles, spheres of influence and modes of which to actualize their powers and the DCU itself existing in the interplay of these forces. It has sometimes been said (although I don't know if it's canon following the New52) that all power in the DCU flows from the Source, but the Source itself is not an entity that can wield these powers, but a spring from which it comes, and it's not really conscious in a traditional sense. It has a will, but that will is more like the laws of nature (or Dharma or Tao or the Force in Star Wars) than a person making active decisions. This is true of most of the other strongest forces within the DCU as well, with the major players (like the Endless for example) being just representatives of these cosmic forces rather than actually harboring the powers themselves.
If the Marvel universe can be compared to a catholic hierarchy of angels with God on the top, DC is more pantheistic and polytheistic in the way that many forms of Hinduism and Taoism is.
instead of doing another power hierarchy, do some intelligence hierarchy which is something DC really has, ex: Brainiac's 12th level intelligence
They are fictional characters. You can't say one is more powerful than the other cause u can just write a new story saying they are the strongest. Such a stupid thing to want to know.
Like pious83 said, DC's power higherarchy is pretty complicated but, if I had to ballpark it, I'd say that the most powerful being in DC is probably a six-way tie between The Phantom Stranger, Trigon, The Anti-Monitor, The Spectre, Volthoom, and Darkseid. Unless you're including otherworldly beings, in which case the top is probably either The Pressence, Lucifer Morningstar, or Doctor Manhattan.

As for Morningstar's story, that kind of discards the Alan Moore story (pre-new-52) which tells the Phantom Stranger is an angelic being from before the time of men, who followed Lucifer merely to inquire about the rebellion. Though he never actually rebelled, yet for having left heaven was condemned to wander the earth.

Sometime you should take a look at Alan Moore's riff on Shazam nee Captain Marvel, namely: Marvelman/Miracle Man... ("Kimota!") I know Neil Gaiman's been trying to get the rights from Todd McFarlene to continue the Miracle Man series, which he was writing for the late Eclipse Comics.
Well, Gaiman has likely stopped trying to get the rights from McFarlane, with Marvel having the rights and all.

Only time he's outright beaten the Juggernaut was when augmented by Apocalypse into War, all other times the Juggernaut has simply been too powerful. Colossus was even more powerful than Cain (possibly not more than current version though) due to his existing powers, so I doubt WWH would beat him. But deflect him into a swamp or otherwise just contain him, like he did with Cain in WWH vs X-Men, yeah that's something else, as WWH had almost full Banner intelligence.
Now Worldbreaker Hulk on the other hand, that's something else, I could see that monster smashing the Juggernaut. Better place the fight on a planet you don't mind losing though.
+Sacremas It would have to be a _disposable_ planet if you were to pit WWH or even Heart of The Monster Hulk against the current Unstoppable Juggernaut. I'd love to see it though. I notice a lot of people seem to underestimate how formidable Juggernaut is. That he has gone one on one against some of the strongest in Marvel and rarely loses.
Trivia: Shazam the Wizard was originally called Shazamo. Shazamo's name was short for Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, Mercury and Oggar. The character, Oggar, who represented the "O" in Shazamo's name, turned evil and corrupt and Shazamo defeated Oggar and banished Oggar from the Rock of Eternity (Shazamo/Shazam the Wizard's home). After Shazamo banished Oggar from the Rock of Eternity, Shazamo removed the "O" from his name and that's how Shazamo became known as "Shazam". Shazam is the wizard, formerly known as Shazamo, not Billy Batson, aka the original TRUE Captain Marvel.
