- Old(ish) school meets new school!
I took my old set of CCM Gatekeeper leg pads and had them modified to fit and perform like a modern pad by swapping out EVERYTHING on the back of the pad with all new leg channels, flaps, knee blocks, and straps to match the quick motion strapping system of the ever popular CCM EFlex 4 and Lefevre L12.1

When I was a kid I had those Koho Cujo graphic pads and gloves. Man those were the days. Stopped playing for a while, never learned butterfly so now I’m like a 175 D-man like Jordan Subban....but beer league LOL.
Haha the destiny for most goalies who decide to keep playing but not in net. I bet those pads were pretty sweet though
I know you're not using these anymore, but after modding my GnetikII pads something I learned was the kneeblock REALLY needed a leather strap. It effectively locked the block at a 90 degree angle. Total gamechanger.
Been a minute since I busted them out but I’ll have to play around with them some more. They’re fun but not perfect.

Yeah he did my glove too. Completely re-skinned it and beefed up the palm

Great video. I need to add new knee blocks to my old Eagles. Was thinking if I could do surgery and add blocks like the new Bauers.
I was going to try and do it myself too but I didn’t want to butcher them
@@BonesyTV I bought them for $50 and they are already coming unstitched so it's a good pad to start on. Just figure out how to execute it.

Biggest part of this is the careful removal of the older clutter in the leg channel. Velcro, thread and a Speedy Stitcher are cheap.
Bet that feels weird in 12inch wide pads lol. Been awhile for me.
