  • It’s true. I love Seattle. However
Before I get into what it is about Seattle that I don’t like (have live in Seattle since 1980), I first talk about why anout why so many TH-camrs are quitting.

Actually, Sodo stands for "South of Dome", which refers to the old King Dome.

It used to be “south of dome,” but after the Kingdome was imploded, most people now just refer to it as “south of downtown.”

Shoutout all the youtubers that setup their shot by setting up the camera, film themselves walking in/out the shot and then ultimately having to go back to retrieve the camera. That in itself is exhausting to think about so big up all the creatives that do those types of shots. Maybe that’s what’s burning everyone out lol. Exercise is good I guess lol

It doesn't matter how many grey days there are as long as you have sunshine in your heart. Noticed the 2.24.2024 at the beginning and forgot tomorrow I'll be 50! That's like so hard to believe Mr Dennis! So ready to see a Mariners game played. Ready to watch many more walking videos with Mr Dennis. Cherry blossoms will soon be in full affect,Yes!!!!

I was born and raised in Ballard up to 1982 where my parents and I moved to Montana to be close to family. Then we moved back to Renton in 1984 and then 2017 moved to Spokane. I would ride the bus into downtown Seattle and the walk up to Pacific Science Center from Westlake Center. I use to work for Seahawk Stadium aka QwestField aka Centurylink Field; which is now Lumien Field. We moved to Spokane for the sunshine but it has the same gray days as Seattle. Thanks for sharing your walking tours.

I've been here 6 years now and I have to say, the last magical year for me was the summer of 2019. I remember moving to Capitol Hill in the spring of 2019 and felt like I had hit the jackpot! Looking out on the city from the Hill left me feeling so blessed to live here. But there has been a decline since the pandemic. So many businesses closed and just people I use to see around town have all moved out. Cost of living is also a major factor, don't get me wrong, it was expensive years ago, but the value for money and the taxes just make it not seem worth it anymore, on top of all this 'go slow' construction. The weather is also starting to get to me too, but warmer climate places are super expensive. I went to New York last summer and that magic I felt in Seattle, I felt it there, it was just a vacation though. If I ever won the lottery, its definitely goodbye. I would probably just visit Seattle in the summer. Likely places I would relocate: Austin, Texas, New York, DC, or Florida.

There was no clickbait? He literally said he loves Seattle, except the gray days. This isn't a soap opera or drama channel, he can post about whatever topic he wants and talk about whatever he wants. Some videos you might love, some not so much. Just don't finish watching the video? You don't have to "unsubscribe" for not liking one video. He's putting out content frequently, not even video is going to hit your sweet spot. Let the man try different topics and video ideas. I personally enjoy them all, and they are great for passing time while on the treadmill.
