I'm form Poland .. In Poland girls do not stand on the streets in the city... most girls advertise online ... There are not such slams in Poland ..the homless live in a shelter not in tents on the street ... drug addicts are immediately arrested by the police... there is order and security in Poland...
In most countries I've been to prostitutes advertise online and usually have a home and a separate place elsewhere to 'do business'. They make a good living out of their profession, can travel the world and everything. I can hardly believe the changes that have taken place in my lifetime. I've lived in Portland/Vancouver my entire 50 year life. I was proud of my hometown thirty years ago and now I'm ashamed to say I live here.

Vancouver, BC is doing it's best to catch up, but in fairness they're ALL Port cities, no matter the politics. It's complicated. Even with Canada's huge "safety net" we're being buried by drugs and those with "needs".

It really is heartbreaking. I live in a bubble of security in my life with my husband and son in the suburbs. Seeing this is shocking to me and so very sad. I pray for these girls. Those are someone's daughters.

Use to live in Yakima for 24 yrs.. 1974-1998 during that time it was the Emerald city.. highly known for food, fashion, fun and weekend enjoyment... traveling thru the city to see the needle and kingdome for the concerts and pro sport games.. I loved it and played Frisbee sports there to compete and make friends... now its choked, high priced and breaking down.. use to be safe to walk the streets at night to each live clubs in downtown Seattle... girls were beautiful in the light but now those that walk the streets are jacked up wanting money.
