Thanks for making this video, I have the same amp - it must be nearly 20 years old and probably needs a new valve but I didn’t know where to start. Great instructions!
Hey! I'm glad it has helped you! It's amazing how a simple tube replacement can give you back the nice tones it had when you first bought the amp. Gives it another decade of life! :)
Thanks for the comment! It you’re planning to use a tube coming from a mesa boogie, just double check that it’s 12AX7/ECC83. I think they’re using the same tube but just check before replacing taboos Mis-match
Hey! Hope this link helps >>> www.amazon.sg/Premium-Selected-ECC83-Preamp-Vacuum/dp/B005ODLTIK/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=jj+ecc83+12ax7&qid=1638088115&sr=8-1
it was handed over to me by a friend. He had it for almost a decade, kept well speakers are still great. The only noticeable flat tones came from the busted tubes. Scratchy knobs were easy to clean. Now she sounds great like new! :)

awesome! I have this same amp bought in 2002 - probably needs a new valve!
Try the Glass-Tap Trick and listen if the tones sound flat or echo-ey (not reverb).
mine doesnt make a high pitch noise when i hit it with a cable connected to nothing on full volume, should i leave it alone?

Very helpful video, thank you. What did you use to clean out the dust inside the amp assembly (Not the pots). Do you suggest compressed air ?
Thanks! Glad it helps! Compressed air should be good. I've used cotton buds with Isoprophyl Alcohol for hard-to-reach areas.
Hi..where can i buy the tube?
