@@annem2922 Well, based on the following facts: a) '95%' of the 'leading and national' high street retailers have decided to withdraw from Ashford High St. (now b) 95% of the national retailers have not signed new lease contracts and vacated the Mall (years ago). c) Ashford 'International' train station has had it's 'international train 'stop' removed and given to Kings X international instead. so that's gotta be '100%'. in lost retail revenue. d) 95% of the remaining retailers in the old high street are made up of £ shop retailers, Vaping, barber and kebab shops. So in comparison to the commercial infrastructure of 2013 to the present day...yes, 95% of ashford high street and it malls are '95% empty. Just saying.
They aren’t lying because Tops Pizza wasn’t around much long before then I reckon and they show it there. Same as ‘The Collection’ hadn’t opened as the pink bar yet. Dec 22 sounds about right
Tories have controlled Ashford since 1885, if you want the town to improve you can't keep voting for the same party and expecting things to change. Vote Labour.

Don't know when this video was 'actually' recorded, but 95% of the shops, high street and centre are all closed down!.
This was recorded around December 2022, on a Sunday. The high street and shops were as per usual at that time.
