Question for the pro: Howcome you in both this and the dexnsive video, you don't push the elves going down on the LOS back and follow up?
I get the diagonal blocks to ger more blocks if they don't go down. But when they DO go down, why not push them towards the other lump of elves?

Good tactics! Just one suggestion would it not be easier to film the board landscape? Filing in the floor area with the endzones

He wants to show perspective, like how it is in the PC game. And to make it easier to determine who's aggressor and defence. Gives them more room to easier move the pieces on the board. The endzones in this video are also completely useless so there no point including them since its all about the starting set up, and initial moves and game plan.

Interesting to see, when I play my buddy, and I am just a neewby to the game, he would never have the flanks open like that team your playing against there

Leaving the flanks open usually protects your own players better, and also invites the opponent to score quickly so you have more time to score back before half-time. Also it keeps more of your players able to reach both flanks.
