- Bolineau's IGA is a one-stop shop, located on Cherry Grove Beach, in North Myrtle Beach, South carolina.
This store has everything. It features groceries, fishing supplies, a souvenir shop upstairs, and a cafeteria downstairs.

We used to only come down one time a year, on Memorial Day weekend. Since my stepfather passed 2 years ago, we come down a couple more times to try to keep the grass mowed and things like that. They owned a little lot down here, and that's where we always stay when we come. So yeah, it does give us a couple of extra trips. It's a pretty good little drive for us, as well. Right at 5 hours. I know you have even further than that.
@@NCMemoryMakers for sure, things change as life changes for us all. thats great that you can do the trips you do, and i remember watching the videos with your step dad, he didn't like to be on camera, lol. so we shall see on or extra trips, its about 9+ hours for us, so not as easy, but we love it there. keep up the good videos
Our family shopped Boulineau's original store and my parents had one of the first "credit cards" they issued. Still have it.

Would love to be there, that food looked really good, might have to make a trip to the beach soon we usually dont go toll August but we stay at Wrightsville beach but i have always loved Cherry Grove, have a blessed rest of your stay, be safe and enjoy your fishing

We love that place!! If you like potato salad go to the deli and get the clear container of twice baked potato salad. It is amazing and what they have at the upscale steak/bbq places. It has bacon, cheese and maybe ranch dressing in it. It has to be the twice baked kind. If you eat some let us know!!
You know, I actually saw that yesterday when we were in line.
I do have a question. Do you happen to know if it has onions in it? I like good potato salad, but I cannot do onions.
If it doesn't, then I'll have to stop by and get some.
@@NCMemoryMakers I have never tasted onions in it. They will let you taste a sample and then you would know. But remember make sure it is the twice baked kind. The others taste different.

We are actually here right now. They have potato salad, potato salad with mustard, and baked potato salad.
I asked the lady, and she said they don't have anything called "twice baked."
I took a picture of it, but I can't post a picture in the comments on TH-cam. Are you following our Facebook? If you are, I could post a picture of it there, and you could tell me if it's the same thing. You'd have to make a comment on one of our posts, or something.
I've only been to Myrtle twice and that was back in the 90's, one of those times was in Cherry Grove and I loved it. I grew up on the beaches of Florida and have been dying to see the ocean again. Could you recommend somewhere in Cherry Grove, right on the ocean that I could stay, I also need somewhere that can take dogs. I would love it to be near Bolineau's. We stayed at The Oceans the time we were there, it was beautiful but I don't think they take dogs.
The Prince Resort is right here connected to the pier. It looks very nice. I don't know what their rates are. We never stay in a motel down here, so I really haven't priced any.
My mom owns a piece of property down here that we always stay on. But if you're looking for something right on the ocean, there are numerous options. I would check bringfido.com, because they will tell you what is pet friendly and what isn't.
I want to say the Prince Resort does accept pets, but I do not know what their rates are, or how much the pet fee is.
The Vafunseekers were just in this area about 2 months ago, and they stayed at the Best Western Ocean Sands Inn, in North Myrtle Beach. It was right on the ocean. Again, I don't know if they are pet friendly, but I know many Best Westerns are.
Check out their video, and you can get a look at the place and see if it's something you might like to look into. I don't remember them mentioning if it was pet friendly, but I just know that some Best Westerns do accept pets.
Sorry I can't be more help, but we just never have stayed in a motel when we come down here.
Well, it is actually Best Western Ocean Sands Beach Resort, but it does not look like they accept pets.
Well, it doesn't look like Prince Resort does, either.
I did find numerous condos and vacation rentals on Cherry Grove Beach that do accept them.
@@NCMemoryMakers ok, thank you, you've been a big help..I have got to get to the beach soon, I just can't believe I haven't seen the ocean in so long, I really enjoy watching your videos. My husband and I just don't go on vacations. I just live 2 hours from Gatlinburg and I think we've only been there twice in the last 30 years. And now I have such bad back problems that I can't hardly walk so I feel like I've just wasted the years.
@@NCMemoryMakers I love the little mom and pop places but I don't think many of them exist any more. And I have to have somewhere with a pool and where I can sit on the balcony and stare at the ocean...lol

Their prime rib was not good for me Oct 2023. It definately was not choice meat
I agree. We did the prime rib once on a Thursday night. While it was cheaper than what we normally pay in a nicer restaurant, the quality was definitely less. I do love the chicken and she loves the fish. But I would not go for the prime rib again.
