- In this video, we visit the ultimate store in Cherry Grove Beach. Bolineaus's features a cafeteria, bakery, fully stocked grocery store, as well as a souvenir and home goods store on the upper level.
This store has pretty much everything!

Yes, that was something, when that guy walked in the grocery store and called my name out. I had actually been out to the beach early that morning to record the rough surf because it was stormy. Shawnasi was still back at the room asleep, so I stopped by the grocery store to use their Wi-Fi to get that video uploaded. I certainly wasn't expecting someone to call out my name like that. But it's always fun to meet viewers when out in public.

great video, and what an amazing place. i love this store, always get my fishing lisc there when in town, its so easy. since i have always done it, i have my number just go to customer service desk, and they plug in my info, and done. the gals in the bakery are also top notch, back in 2020 i surprised my wife with renewing our wedding vows in cherry grove on the beach, and had boulineaus bakery make us a cake for the event, and it was great. they have so many options in the bakery. store is a little pricey, but they have everything. always get some cherry grove clothing from there. fried chicken is awesome i would agree. think you and i share a lot of favorites, love my sweets too. i love that they have so many kinds of sausage, which they did turkey type. funny about the hats with your wive, we have some great pics of my girls and wife too like that, lol. sailor hat for sure for you. love all the decals on your truck, i do the same, and so agree about going to the store when we are in town, its our family staple several times during the week. great times and memories.
I can't imagine a trip there, without going into that store. It wouldn't be the same.

You are correct, this store has everything. And the best fried chicken that I've had down there.
Coming to Myrtle Beach in July first time visitors, my wife will love that store, appreciate the content enjoy watching from Mississippi

I know what you mean. But to be honest, I love your Townsend IGA, as well. Is the fried chicken there as good as I've heard it is?
We usually make a trip or 2 there on our Cades Cove camping trips. We are planning to stay in Townsend, on the nights of June 15th and 16th, to hike up Gregory Bald. Of course, that is weather permitting.

@@NCMemoryMakers We watched your video on it but due to a time restraint, unfortunately we didn’t have time to stop in any of the stores except the convenience store because it was so late by time we went by. We had no idea where it was until we just so happened to go by it and remembered that you had made a video there, but we do plan to make time to stop in and see it all on our next visit down there because of everything it offers. We’d really like to try that fried chicken but couldn’t have anyway yesterday because we’d already eaten and wasted all that money at Bennett’s!😂

It fell when we were doing the close out of Benito's restaurant, the day after this video was taken. We had it propped on my truck. But yes, it is okay. It has a good case around it.

I don't know if you've been out there since they built the new convenience store and gas station, that also has it. But the last couple of trips he was with us, he always wanted us to stop there and get some.
@@NCMemoryMakers I don't know how new it is, but I have definitely been there unless I was at an older one that they replaced with a new one. Looked like the same place.
@@trudivecchione9642 This is the original Boulineau's store that you have been to. It has been there for a long time.
I'm talking about the new gas station they also built just down the road, that has the same soft serve ice cream. That is where he always wanted us to stop. I think it was built just a few years back.
But yes, this is the store you are familiar with.
@@NCMemoryMakers I have been to the gas station as well. It may be different now, but Frank discovered that they sold a generous amount of ice cream for the ridiculous price of 50 cents a cone. Maybe it was a promotional thing but, trust me, I was there. I forget many things but never ice cream! 😁
@Trudi Vecchione the gas station may have been there longer than I remember. I just remember the last couple of trips he made with us, he always had us to stop there so he could get some. It was a really good deal.
