Done this with same boiler. pressure doesn't build up. Boiler still under warranty but nobody can fix it for three weeks. Not impressed as i have very young children who are unwell.

Hi Allen, could you help me please. I have a baxi 630 combi that is working fine with no error codes or leaks anywhere. However a few weeks ago I noticed the pressure was just below 1 bar so I went to top the pressure up by pulling down the filling loop valve lever. I normally hear water filling the system and seeing the needle going up to show pressure increase in system. I held the lever in down for about 30 seconds and needle didnt move. Today I checked pressure guage to find it reading zero and there is no sign of leaks anywhere in the heating system and radiator valves. I am reckoning on a faultly pressure guage. Is this an easy fix for a diy er like myself, Is there a way you can drain down the boiler pressure partially at the boiler rather than draining the whole system down from the radiators to remove and unclog the guage pipework or do a total guage replacement. I know the part is only about 30 quid its just having the balls to partially drain the boiler down thats a bit daunting for me. Your advice would be appreciated very much indeed.
