More than I find this to be an amazing song, I find it to be beautiful more than anything. Especially the verse riff, there’s something about it that feels like it’s just bringing me home and I can’t get enough of it
for metal first start with scales, picking styles like a good one is back and forth stle with a track like " technical difficulties" by racer x. get onto some covers of old metal songs like painkiller by Judas priest. practice each section slowly then get faster and faster. it will take you a long time but you will get there. also print tabs and song sheets
I learn violin now because it's highly technical like tech death, bit back when I learned tech death you had to break it down into little chunks and learn each bit slowly. a slow grind but you win in the end. it's funny cause it's the same with violin

I realy love the first part of the solo. It has his own unique feel and you played it very well with a nice smooth tone.
