      If you watch this game and Jordan's entire career, it is quite obvious that Steph Curry would have absolutely NO CHANCE of guarding Michael Jordan one on one. Jordan is 6'6" and Curry 6'3" with Jordan 15-20 pounds heavier of all muscle. Jordan would light his ass up as Curry would have NO CHANCE of stopping him when Jordan post up and shoots the fade away. Then Curry would overplay him and get up on him, and Jordan would fake and go around him to the hole. Then Jordan would face the hoop and Curry would stay back a little and Jordan would bury the 3 or any outside jumper. If Curry tried to get up on him with Jordan facing the hoop, MJ would drive around him and take it to the hoop again. Now, am I saying Michael Jordan would stop Steph Curry? Absolutely not! Nobody can! But MJ would at least contest and even deny Curry a small percentage of the time. Meanwhile, Curry would again have NO CHANCE of stopping Michael Jordan's arsenal of different shots... especially his post up fade away jumper. Jordan... 3 inches taller and 15-20 pounds more muscle means NO CHANCE for Curry! And I didn't even mention Jordan's incredible mental IQ and wisdom for the game of basketball when he would outsmart so many players as well.

      @m74d3 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      smith lovy I wasn't suggesting he didn't have off nights - you took my comment too literally. Besides, I didn't say that every game was a masterpiece - I said that many were. A great many. "Just about every game," which was hyperbole that you took too literally. Of course he had off nights.

    • @delfra70
      @delfra70 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      smith lovy Yes MJ did have stinkers just like any other player has had and he did have some tough games against the Pistons in the late 80's. That being said I also remember MJ scorching the Pistons for 61 & 59 points on Detroit's home floor in wins, I also remember MJ averaging over 32 points per game for his career against Detroit, but you probably don't remember that part haha.

    • @boogieloo1831
      @boogieloo1831 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      smith lovy - who doesn't miss game winners? But his percentage for shots in the last 24 seconds or less to tie or win is 50% - far beyond anybody else in the NBA. It's laughable when people make bombastic statements as if not making every single shot means he sucks. What is most notable is when he was on the highest stage in the Finals, he didn't miss them.
      And FYI, in all those 80's games against the Pistons and everyone else, he still played incredibly well even if he missed a rare game winner. Just go check his averages against Detroit.

    While everyone is talking about MJ, I'll just quietly mentioned that 96 Warriors isn't a bad team, it's only four points. They had Joe Smith, Latrell Sprewell, Chris Mullin, Tim Hardaway and Rony Seikaly. Each franchise players at different points of their careers.

      simplygu - ur dreaming. MJ was the greatest perimeter defender of all time - top 5 if you disagree. Yes MJ would defensively torture Curry. If they played in the 90's rules, MJ would literally smother Curry with hands and forearm on Curry's body. Even in today's NBA, it may be impossible to totally stop anybody including Curry, but MJ would still make Curry's life miserable.

Yet, he moved faster, more athletic and dominant than any player in the court/league-- that reverse move at 2min mark is already a vintage move. @ChiToNYc Way to many people make that argument. The league is softer yes, but there is no way that makes up for a difference of 4 years in the nba. The real wear and tear on your body comes from running up and down the court and launching your body into the air with all your might. I think a prime MJ in any era is unfair. I wasn't comparing the two [because that is stupid]. My point was, Kobe would be more athletic if he had less years in the league on his body like MJ did.

    Islam spreewell is a great player or was
    To be a super star
    Out of the gate. But
    The head coach for
    The warriors I believe that his name was Mooney.
    He took it upon himself to nip these
    Future stars with headgames when he was able too, and if not wage war on them. George Karl
    Interned under him.
    We all know what happened between Mooney and spreewell. But Shawn Kemp should
    Have seen the exact
    same thing happening to him with head coach George Karl, partly
    To keep their salaries low, stay in
    The playoffs, without adding to the roster stars like Vince Carter, or Barkley and bring
    Home a title. But instead destroying kemps reputation on
    An off the court
