Dolphins don't sleep in the same way that we humans do. We have periods of unconscious sleep and there's no need to think or control our breathing because our body does it for us. @@szigetimotoros if you as a human can observe and understand dolphins emotional wisdom then your point is incorrect. Recognizing animals emotional tendencies means that humans have emotional wisdom by default. Implementation is a different subject.

If you do a little research into sleep studies on humans and how they are sometimes practically done, you’d know how it was measured.
