Fernando Romera Well, otherwise it would have died. Which means only the dolphins that lived to breathe lived to breed. Natural selection is such a simple, complex process.
Human babies are very much the same. They immediately know their mother from sound; smell; touch; affection; comfort; etc. Also, as a human baby cannot walk until his/her legs are ready...a baby dolphin cannot swim perfectly until his/her dorsal fin strengthens. So, the human baby, like, the dolphin baby, needs his/her mom for nursing; teaching; growing up; etc.
She's not losing a lot of blood, the reddish fluid is mostly amniotic fluid. She has yet to pass the placenta. What blood there is, isn't a lot, and is probably from the umbilical cord.
The baby dolphin is so cute and it's adorable how floppy it's dorsal fin is at birth. Earth truly is amazing an amazing place full of wonders. I just wish we had more time to see those wonders instead of working life away day after day.
@Precure Forever its for the baby because the baby needs to build up its muscles so they swim alot during the grt go because specially the fin needs to be strengthened.
@Precure Forever well during the moments after its born a new born actually swimming on its own without the support of the mother yoh can look at its fin notice how it flops around because it's still relatively weak and the mother spend that time time supporting the infant till its muscles are strong enough where it can swim on its own
@@RealCynix the baby if you notice swims on tip of the the mother because the mother is supporting the child so it can surface and take breathes because it has trouble doing it on its own at this point of its life. For other mammals, giving birth is generally not as painful as for a human. Because humans have such large heads, it is difficult for a baby to pass through the rather narrow hips. Other animals don't have this issue. For humans, it is a payoff between possible risk of death in childbirth, and a large brain volume. It sucks lmao.
