the tightening torques that you put here are those of the tie rod, not those of the suspension arm, greetings los pares de apriete que poneis aqui son los de el tirante,no los de el brazo de suspension, saludos
Stupid question i just did the 2 rear upper control arms as the front ones are fine do i need an alignment for those ones cause there is no camber or whatever adjustment for those ones its just a bolt on 2002 525i anny comment would be awesome thanks
Struggling with the torqueing of the bolts after installation. The new control arm comes with specific instructions that the torque needs to be applied while the wheel is on the car and all vehicle weight is on the wheels. This video does not show that being done. Any suggestions for achieving this specification? Thanks.
Thank you for your comment! You are absolutely right, the controlled tightening of the suspension fasteners should be done when the car is on its wheels, however, for more convenient access, we left the car hanging on lifts, compressing only the shock absorber strut to the ground clearance height. According to the catalog, the tightening torque is 66.6-82.3 N.m, the average value is indicated in the video, which is correct.

It is difficult to tell anything according to the description, we recommend contacting an auto mechanic.

I think these torque settings are wrong. Other sources say 110nm to subframe, and 142 nm to knuckle
Yes, you're right, it will be useful for us. Thank you for your attentiveness.

Good video awful 'music', sorry, noise.
Be a lot better with out the loud, shitty elevator Rock music
Thank you for your comment.
We will take this into account in our future videos.
Tutorial video from Autocock, piss poor as usual who needs that irritable music in the background, and not everybody has a ramp,
In the new videos, we have already fixed the problem with music.
