LYRICS:
I think that you’d be proud
I flew alone today
I think that you’d be shocked
That I don’t look the same
I grew up fast without you
Did my lashes in the bathroom
And some things you’d like to skip
16 sucking dick in the bathroom
What’s fair
What’s a fair assessment
Of the job you did
Do you ever even regret it
It’s not rare
Doesn’t make it less depressing
Tried so hard
Am I over correcting
Ah ha ah ha
Ah ha ah ha
You’d want me to be famous
So you could live by proxy
You always had a reason to comment on my body
You’re not a perfect person
Somethings always wrong
But I know there’s nothing less perfect to a girl than a mom
What’s fair
What’s a fair assessment
Of the job you did
Do you ever even regret it
It’s not rare
It doesn’t make it less depressing
Tried so hard
Am I over correcting
Ah ha ah ha
Ah ha ah ha
Maybe it was not the right time
Maybe it was not the right wine
Maybe it was in the water
Maybe god turned a blind eye
Maybe it was my crime
Maybe I should see a doctor
I didn’t choose you
You chose me
I won’t chalk up the truth
The truth to disease

I’m so glad that we got a whole future of great songs to look forward to! Sabrina has done it again! Wow, what a song!!
please let this be foreshadowing an album release
Bravo Blondshell, the sky is the limit for this tight band!! Vocals are so good and love the additions!
Blondshell fully and perfectly represents my inner voice and mood and it’s so cathartic
The blondshell scream >>>
The sweetness of the voice captures immediately without any doubt. Loveable moments to see them alive recently. Je l'ai aimé!
Excellent jam once again from this band ….. really great stuff lyrically and musically … blondshell proving indie music is alive and well …
Nostalgia is knocking at my door. Such throwback sound to the late 90s and early 2000s rock. This is my JAM! 😎
The guitar's sound reminds me of early Third Eye Blind. The rest got me like Alanis Morrisette, Mazzy Star, The Sundays, Liz Phair and Smashing Pumpkins all colliding at once. My soul is touched ❤ Thank you!
The clip evokes warm nostalgia of MTV of the late 90s and early 2000s 😌
“I didn’t choose you-you chose me. I won’t chalk up the truth to disease” hits so hard. My mom is a toxic narcissist and this song is incredibly relatable. So glad I found you guys
I genuinely cannot get over how insanely talented blondshell is like i need to see them live ASAP (come to Scotland i beg 🙏🏻)
It took a minute (two listens) for this song to grow on me but now I cannot stop playing it. Love the visual of the red text over the grainy black and white close up.
So easily, I can imagine the band this song playing at the Bronze in "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" series. Love it.
Blondshell do what you love. You are amazing!
I love this song
Samsies, my friend. Beautiful track and hits hard.
It feels like a song from the 90’s and I think that’s one reason I like it.
Was an absolute joy hearing this debut at Green ma Festival '24 a few days ago l when they played on the main stage. Instantly a fan.
Yes I will be screaming along to this for the next 48 hours straight. Thanks for sharing yourself with us like this. You rock ❤
what can i say? this song just hits all the feels 😢
You do not miss !!! Another gem
(5) straight listens!! 🤟💛
Flawless! Blondshell! Thanks!
God damn great song! Been a fan since Olympus❤
It's nice to hear something different I like it
Had to play this twice
What a song and what a year for Blondshell, this and Docket in the same year. So glad I got to see her live. I love that she has variety but also similarities in her songwriting but also HONESTY. I hear lots of influences and feel no need to ID them. I think people should think more before making comparisons, it can come across as a way to be dismissive of a great song.
Hits every time
Magnifique ❤
Heard you guys for the 1st time at The Gorge, opening for Glass Animals. Thought you were great. This song reminded me so much of my mother figures 😂.
met my friends at your lolla set bc they saw you open for suki and wanted to see you again and you gained 2 new fans with your set! i love this song
BLONDSHELL ILY
Perfect song!
this is so good omg
This is so good
Excelente
See? It's not just the British who have musical talent......
on repeat, relatable
Same here.
"You always had a reason to comment on my body،you're not a perfect person, Somethings always wrong but I know there’s nothing less perfect to a girl than a mom"
ع الجرح 😔
I am way too excited about this
Great stuff!
Beautiful 🫶🏼
Great track!
For God, finally can I sleep in peace listening this wonderful piece of heaven. ❤
Who’s here in 2024?
This is the catchiest song of the ‘90s
I'm a 70 year old grandfather of 3 and this song rocks as hard as anything Eisenhower tried to ban... Don't know why I lied right there I'm 40 but great track 👍
👌👌
I feel like this will be used in a netflix show opening
Just wow...
Love your songs
oh i like it !!! 🩵
❤
It's 1994 all over again ❤
Watch this song randomly blew up on tiktok
Is this a single or new album on the way?
Nice
This is so harmonically beautiful as only you can deliver. This soothes my soul. You are extraordinary.💜
Blondshell's mom and my priest should go bowling some time. Adults can be such cowards and it's nice to hear someone scream it every once in a while. Blondshell seems to be picking up where Courtney Love left off. It's a heavy torch but someone needs to carry it.
really hope you understand that this is NOT what i needed today. sobbed when hearing this at lolla. thanks though.
love the vibe of this lyric video, well done as always blondshell!
Im glad im found you recently, you have an awesome voice
احاااااا ايه الجمال داااااا 🫀🫀🫀🫀
❤
Amazing
Thank you DAT mesiboku madam
I just want an entire album that sounds like Olympus. Olympus just feels so organic. It doesn't feel like an attempt at creating a Hole/Sonic Youth sound it feels like it simply was torn out of the pages of another time. I need an entire album of that shit....inject Olympus into my veins.
You should do it!
Did you listen to the album it's on? There are other songs like it on there.
You want her to create the same song's energy in for a whole album and then begin to list artists that have nothing to do with her personal artistry in hopes of her sounding more "organic"....this comment is so ironic
@@delia_watercolorsYes it's a solid album. That's by far the stand out song though.
@@nightcrawler8864nothing ironic about pretending Blondshell isn't heavily inspired by Hole. That's just denial
❤
