Wuja is a gift from God to us all. We need to treasure her. She is really a beautiful soul. There is so much goodness in her. And her musicianship, technique and mental focus/flow are truly mind blowing. I am a professional musician and she blows my mind! She is an inspiration on so many levels. I just love her.
Yuja's gifted fingers bring tears to everything she plays. This tired, old world is very lucky to have such a healing performer stitch us together for just a little while at a time. Thank you for an enduring interview.

To be so young, so dedicated to the classical music culture gives all of us hope , inspiration and a new confidence in life. Yuja Wang is the personification of what can be achieved through discipline, hard work, sacrifice and reaching out to perfection. Nobility and beauty still exist in the hands of this great artist-pianist.
The interviewer seems a bit senile, like at 20:15 he suddenly says we would now like to watch on TH-cam when we played a piano concerto together on stage, and repeats the word TH-cam a couple times, but never says what the piece is! All I got was that it's a big deal to him that we have this wonderful thing called TH-cam where we can watch something we did together - whatever that was. Anybody here recognize it?
I would hate this, being forced to play something I played the night before in the morning before I've recovered from the previous evening. You can see she's not truly comfortable with this guy, but is doing it out of obligation.
She never seems that comfortable talking about herself really. Ari Vardi is a world renowned pianist and pedagogue; perhaps she was a bit intimidated. He is on her teacher Gary Graffmans's level.
@@bloodgrss Yuja has great respect for other musicians. Sometimes, I wonder if she appreciates just how good she is. Frankly, although Arie Vardi has an encyclopaedic musical knowledge, as a performer, Yuja is very much the superior.

@@timothybolshaw I don't think Ari ever questioned that. He often plays a duet/two hands with his famous pianist quests, for fun.
She's very comfortable at the piano. And she's played all of these pieces hundreds or thousands of times. One more isn't going to bother her.

It sounds very much like Beethoven's "Fur Elise," but apparently it is Yuja's version of the piece.
