- Damn this deck is fun also cosmic cyclone is mandatory because some Psycho would play Anti-Spell and ruin the fun, and it just good against other stupid floodgate as well.
I literally beat so many "Tier" deck with just pure engine, this deck is so underated.

Out of all the anime arctypes, Abyss Actors are by far my favorite. Their gameplay loop is really unique creating game states were destruction of the backrow isn't all times a good time: bounce 2 and draw until you have 5 cards in hand (this one is really funny). As well as the whole actor ascetic is a cute. With the face-up pendulum zone being a backstage until they are call up on stage (or being pendulum summon). I love it.
In the duelist cup Tearlaments Heartbeat came in clutch when I faced this deck.
I love pendulum decks that don't end up in the usual 15 negates board and do nothing going second, this is very cool
The highest record is 9 negates in OCG format in Taiwan ending the board with secret village
That last duel was insane. Tabled that tear player hard.

Crafted this deck as an introduction to pendulums, but never learned how to use it. Thank God this event gave me the time to learn because they're funnn
Been playing Abyss Actor for a year and gotta say they are ridiculous
Even before the support you could still beat meta but you needed the cards.
Right now you just need two cards or just dress rehearsal and you are good to go, the deck has so many options and the support makes it so consistent is unreal. I also play the evil heels even when arent needed

Play waking the dragon in it, its so funny
The number of strats is unreal with this deck, even bystials are playable in, and has a real good going second potential

Pendulum decks are usually pretty good and can hold their own against meta, we just don't see them very often because no one wants to play it, pendulum strategies feel so complicated and it scares people. 😂
actually pendulum is not that bad. Your opening hand can be different but most of the time they're like 3 or 4 lines to go, most of the pendulum deck can be simplify to those lines (well, except for maybe DDD). Hidden effect, advance line, play around hand trap etc is when you decide to be serious with the deck, else, its not that difficult

Any reason to choose Funky & Trendy over Dramatist who has the same scale?
I want to ask you a favor: Please, try them with Unchained, specially if you have higher rarities (Specially the doggo, it can turn any opponent into Super producer)... Aruha & Rakea locks into fiend anyways, and they're viable targets to pop with thumbnail dude; if you think Abyss actors are underated, you haven't seen my masochist fellas mixed with them
Funky comedian just looks funny that's it.
Mixing abyss actor kinda hard tho, a lot of their effect lock you, it's really hard to keep track on especially against interuption
Unchained cards should be used first if possible, then move to Abyss, as not all lock you (Extras, Hyper, Madonna, Hope)
Speaking of interruptions, the only thing Actors can use natively as defense are Dramatist on battle, and will resolve at the end phase (Funky might be wonky but being emotional support as you mentioned wins the argument) & field, obviously having set a Script... But a simple use of Super producer on Sarama either will trade Ash / Called by or summon a pop / defense from deck, giving a bit of a breathing room
Obviously it's up to you, not everyone has Unchained SR to begin with (Link 4 isn't even needed), but, must say, they really help to increase the ceiling of the deck...
If you want an answer, Funky Comedian gets you attack but its just in case of an emergency, trendy i dont really like it but it appears people use it to cycle materials and both of those do the job just in case.
Dramatist NEEEDS at least 3 copies of a script on deck and most of the time when you use her eff people will just choose the one they think its worse for you, also in abyss actor the only script is worth playing at three is rise so, i dont think its that good, its ok if you are doing a strat for her but you need to plan for her because she can do lots of damage to the opp. i think why he didnt use her was because its actually a weird card, not that good but also good if you wanna use her and have the plan.

But fair enough, at best had seen Opening at 2 copies, while Rise is minimum at 2

By the way, I went in Duelist Cup's second stage with this deck against kasht, d-link and other swordsoul decks : all worms against this chad comedia deck

As long as tiger is not banned any Lunalight Variant is good, Time thief Lunalight, orcust lunalight, tear lunalight, Tri-Brigade etc etc.
There is so many way to play Lunalight just try them all, you will not regret it.

Went against this deck once and it’s really underrated.
It’s cool, but it seems so complicated. Don’t think I can handle it.
Now I have a dilemma. I want to try out a Spriggangs + Lunalight deck, but I also want to build a Dragon Link + Bystial and Abyss Actor.
