Yes!!!! I was slowly descending into a pit of despair . . . I was worried that you guys might not return before, say, mid-September, or worse. The Temptations had a bunch of classic hits, but even more, some of their songs (and the awesome grooves) might have helped inspire hip/hop and rap -- "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone" is a good example. Welcome back, gents!
Olympic X, I had the same exact idea about 30 years ago, I called it the Dopelympics. No women's or men's classes. Just everyone against everyone and unlimited drugs. Imagine the post match/game interviews with the Dopelympians. I'd watch the hell out of that.
Would really love to hear more Queen live reactions. Now I’m Here live at Wembley 1986. All band members firing on all cylinders. Dragon Attack, Another One Bites the Dust and Save Me at Montreal 1981. A little info about the Montreal show. The band had just come off a tour and found out their manager had agreed to a 2 night concert to be filmed in Montreal. The filming technique was to rival IMAX and was going to be shown on large screens set up outside called mobile vision. The band was not happy but had to do it. The night of the first show they found out they would need to wear the same clothes both nights so that performances could be intermingled and look cohesive. Freddie did not like to be told what to wear. They also found out that the film crew and security told the fans to stay in their seats and not sing so as to not interrupt the filming. The band was livid. They kicked their manager out of their dressing room. They came out all jazzed up and played everything a little faster. The 2nd night Freddie performed with as little clothes on as possible. If you watch Another One Bites the Dust you will see what I mean. The whole mobile vision thing was a failure and post production of the video was awful. Queen finally bought the rights and pieced it together (some film was lost to the initial cutting room floor) and came out with the concert on dvd earlier this year. Fantastic quality for 1981.
Loved this! I wasn't familiar with this track. It has to be said, the Tempations made satin salmon pink shirts look fine. Great song. Glad to have you back!
Welcome back, hope you had a productive couple of months! Really happy to see things start up again! Temptations were huge in the day and my older brtother used to buy all the albums, so I heard it like that.
Great to have you both back. The Temptations ( triggers broom ) a great start. Got Spec savers tomorrow and if i can get those frames to fit under my crash helmet then that's what i'm after. Do we still have Australia onboard?
Cannot believe it ! The rumours of your deaths were obviously exaggerated.Thank god for that! Looking forward to maybe some Thamesmen Olympic challenges of the quality of the pickle off from series one. Anywho, welcome back, YT is worth watching again.
Woah! Welcome back!! Chris and I caught up just the other week to see a couple of old bands that are making the rounds again. Glad to see you guys have had a bit of time to make some more content!
You're back! Yaaay! Good to see you guys, I've missed you. 😘💖 I'm not watching the Olympics either and I don't wanna talk about it, except that the politics pisses me off. Anyway, great start, I love the temptations, specially psychadelic soul. 💓 My most favourite of theirs is ball of confusion.
You're back?!?! Thought your suspension was supposed to be MUCH longer?!?! 🤣🤣🤣. Kidding.😁 Seriously though, Welcome Back. Song is from '69?, me too, lol Lots of great music out this year. Just a few examples: New Nightwish: "Perfume of the Timeless" is out, "The Day Of..." drops Thursday. New Jinjer "Someone's Daughter" The Warning's 4th album, Keep Me Fed, is out. You've only heard "More' from those 12 songs. Wednesday, "Show Them" drops, Band Maid/ The Warning collab.
Welcome back guys, you buggers tricked me, I was expecting this to drop on the sixth, but it uploaded on the fifth. What would make me say that? I was on your Patreon two days ago and this weird little clip of your opening screen popped up for about 2 seconds and it was dated 6/8, so I figured you had uploaded a show to drop on that date. However, I was wrong, it dropped on the fifth. Anyway, you are here now so truly, welcome back. That video was fantastic. I have never seen it before, but that's not surprising as what I know about the Temptations (and Motown in general) could be carved on the head of a pin with a jackhammer. I have to admit that Motown is not my favourite genre of music. However, this was very good. I look forward to seeing you guys ease your way back in.
Hi Len. Great to hear your voice. We have missed this community and comments. We will not be posting as often so we can maintain our energies (and the rest of life generally!). You might have seen something pop up as I (George) was having trouble with our recording software and nearly streamed our recoding session live!
OK, that was a cool track, but I probably wouldn't seek it out. More importantly, YOU'RE BACK! Please don't leave us so long again, you don't understand some of the detritus I've been reduced to watching 😂✌❤

Glad you found it now!
Welcome back lads. I think you would appreciate Aussie legends Roy & HG calling some olympic sports from Sydney 2000.
