Here’s one from me;
I thought I’d reached peak service when the barista at the Farncombe Railway Station (UK) knew my name and started making my flat white as I walked along the platform….
But then….
I saw a guy who would get on the train at the station before Farncombe and would message the barista - so when the train pulled in, the guy would be standing in the doorway of carriage 4 right opposite the coffee bar and the barista would step over, say “morning John”, and hand him a paper bag with his coffee, a croissant and a copy of the Financial Times 😂
The best.
this is pretty cool! would never happen in the US 🤣
