3000 square foot home will last a day on 20kwh (what their website actually says, not the 30kwh he talks about in interviews)? Does that seem right to anyone?
My home in the heat of the summer uses like 120kwh per day. I can turn off pool pumps and stuff to get it down to maybe 80 or 90, but the idea that this will last a day is absurd.
That said, if it can last for the far more common 1-2 hour outage, then this is great.
Bitcoin mining can help balance the grid, mitigate methane, and heat buildings in the winter. It will become a critical component to all energy systems in the next decade.
