Taken from The Hunt (2015).
The Hunt is a celebration of nature's most determined and cunning predators and their equally cunning and elusive prey. Narrated by Sir David Attenborough, this series takes an intimate look at the remarkable strategies of hunters and, in some cases, the hunted, exploring the challenges animals face and the tactics they employ. The strategies of both predators and prey are shaped by where they live, so each episode focuses on one principal habitat, whether savannah, jungle or ocean.

How can anyone resist David Attenborough’s dialogue and immense knowledge of our planet!
😒
an iconic legend
I know neither my husband nor I can. He is legendary!
Wait'll you see the navy, air force, and marine ants.
Or space force ants!
Or the C.I.A.

Lol😂😂😂
Ah ha yes but they are all being secretly ran by the deep state termites and A lot of there ant hills seem to have been built using alien technology!
that was incredible. scary too even. i had to pick my feet up off the floor
Great video footage thanks for sharing BBC Earth !
wish i have the full story
Ants are cool
If we were the size of an aphid, they’d be absolutely terrifying.
Yes!
Yes very
This here is a superior species.
Why don’t ants get sick?
Because they have little antibodies.
😂
😄
😕
no right making me laugh like that
huge thanks to bbc earth and sir david without you we will never know.
"We're the Borg, resistance is futile."
"now have sex with our gross oily queen, Data"
That sums it up.
Ants are incredible! I love them! And i love insects in general. But it's so amazing how ants are so organized. In my country the government, authorities are terrible, here you won't see that kind of organization and team work that ants have and how they seek the well-being of all its members.
Thank you ❤ BBC
If only our politicians worked together so well.
It's getting itchy...it's getting itchy...😅
Army ants are one example, but seeing a group of ants makes me itchy... 😅
It's the nest, and hordes of bugs/insects that I can't stand.
Too many legs wiggling all at once, which makes my skin crawl.
One of the most smartest insect on this planet
Formigas não devem ser subestimadas.
We are "Borg", resistance is futile. 😊
Everything overwhelmed by sheer numbers. This is why a small drone swarm will become the game changer in warfare. Even if you take out a few the rest will continue until the mission is completed. Scary to think that's this the future we're headed for.
Great segment. Thank you.
We are the swarm...
Could listen to David Attenborough narrate my impending death and I’d go out smiling.
Dear Sir.
Very good information and best viedography.
Thanks lots Sir

Nice video
OMG that's just like us
always wonder how the camera person filming this tiny world...brilliant
Fascinating
Next time you complain about having too many people at a party, just be glad you're not a wasp facing an army ant raid. I wonder if the ants have a battle cry? Like, "For the colony!" or something?
Thanks
An insect so small , yet that strong is amazing, this surely is no AI video as I got comments in other BBC earth videos, very well researched, documented, filmed & as always , really well narrated by David Attenborough
I can’t wait to see the Salvation Army ant! One million ants handing out free… 🤔😂
excellent
A simple question: how can they become so numerous? More eggs laid? Do workers live longer than other species of ants? How come?
I left a half packet of Rowntree's Fruit Pastilles on a table in our living room the other night and in the morning there were about six or seven ants clearly following a laid down chemical trail going from behind the telly to the fruit pastilles. The clever little *******!
The music really goes hard here haha
Amazing
awesome words for describe
Imagine the human race if we all acted together like these ants - talk about formidable!

@@jason4275well not everyone was pulling in the same direction.
These are the most fierce and feared ants in the world, but anteaters would love them😂
David attenbough is the best love that man ❤
Teach an ant how to use a flamethrower and god knows how many great movies we’d have
太厲害了🎉
The tyranids of the jungle

Noticed that too. They've been doing this with a lot of videos.
I like aunt😊
Thank god, they are small
If you're ever searching for answers ( to most problems) look to nature. Flora & fauna
earthshaker like this
It's like a brain and every ant is a neuron.
Interessantes Video. Gruss Jürgen 🤠
Ah yes the ants that get drafted as soon as they are born.
Brood war at the end.
like the simple ant
we are all one
no dictator should
stand a chance
Fun fact. Army Ants only move because they eventually decimate the local wildlife.
Simply imagine the result once AI gains a physical presence.
Amazing I still think a bugs life movie is better tho
How on earth did they film this? Remote control cameras?
Funny how army ants don't show hostility to other species of army ants at all.

What documentary this is from?
👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Imagine how frustrating it would be to spend half of your life doing something, have it all taken away at random and then forcing you to start over. You're more than likely to experience this process more than once, and the phenomenon is so terrible that you don't even bother fighting it, you just instantly give up and leave.
Are they good or bad for the ecosystem?
that's the voice of Father Nature people

They remind me of China.

Where are the big guns 🔫
I hate bugs in general in MY house. Especially ants, spiders & wasps/hornets. Like, just no.
Please! Before this absolutely great man of a human being passes from this world can you please do a full body scan and turn him into the AI for nature documentaries. We need to make this man known throughout history.

You have many questions I can tell… Welcome to the ant keeping hobby. Here is a lost of your success and save money ☝️ Here: 1.) ant barrier - extra virgin olive oil 2.) founding chamber nest - water tower steel mesh for humidity 3.) seeds for harvester ants and carebara diversa 4.) water feeders for hydration 5.) test tubes for drinking water 6.) mealworms for infinite supply of insect liquid protein. I will no longer babysit you, do your own research now. Let the ant keeping hobby begin 😤

Dude it says it in the description:
"Taken from The Hunt (2015)"
@@blucat4 well actually it's called "the hunt"
@@Lakersn1nation That's what I said.
@@blucat4first set of quotation marks should be before "The."
@@pamelaleigh4225 No, look in the description. I did a copy and paste. It literally says:
"Taken from The Hunt (2015)"
With a line gap above and below, so you can see it easily. The quotes are there to indicate what I am quoting, from the description.
