I ordered this phone yesterday and received it this morning. Since the launch, I was hoping for Ranjit to post a video of this, since his videos are unbiased and honest. Sad! Oneplus failed to send him a reviewer's unit. It was only on Ranjit's recommendation I bought a 3T back in 2017 and never regretted it.
I have been using Oneplus phones since 2017 and I still feel they are far behind in the camera department but if you are buying this for productivity and the performance, let me tell you 8T is snappy. The weight distribution is good and I didn't feel it was heavy. Curved displays looks good but not my taste.
Does the device heat up while setting up for the first time?

4 cameras is nothing but a gimmick. The primary camera is the only decent one, other 3 are so bad relatively that you'll never want to use them. This is just a way of fooling customers to pay more. The pixel 4a has a single camera but still takes much much better photos including better macro shots without a dedicated macro lens.
Not a fanboy bit 8t is better phone and has better afrer sales service compared to Google

Ya so my question is that as soon as I change the settings to switch off animation after that I leave my phone on standby and after a couple of unlock screens my menu disappears and I have to restart my phone

He made that what's wrong with oneplus video where he criticised the concept of a t series phone. Oneplus is deliberately giving average specs to the normal number series and then again bring a better t version, so he made an opinion video on that. Butthurt oneplus didn't like it and didn't send even the nord for review.

Hi Ranjit. I follow your videos from quite a few years. I just want to point 1 thing that everytime you talk about OnePlus fast charging tech you say Wrap Charging but it's Warp charging. I noticed this in all of your OnePlus device unboxing videos. Rest all of your videos are very good and I don't miss any of them. You're doing a very good job.
