Excellent video. I started almost two years ago at age 25 and am on a similar journey to you when you were 15. I also know that it is truly possible. Good to see an example out there.
Thank you for the nice feedback! ☺ Perhaps I'll do some four hands someday with my teacher (Peter Simons) that I had the two years prior to the conservatory. My teacher Avi Schönfeld, with whom I studied at the conservatory, made some recordings, and I'm still asking for those. And he told me he will make these available, but still didn't. I'll keep asking. He did the first-ever recording of the complete Scriabin Etudes. The record company went bankrupt. He still has these 'black records'. I want my hands on those because he is a really excellent pianist who himself studied with Rubinstein, Perlemuter, Lefébure and Ilona Vice-Krauze. It is ridiculous that his recordings are not available to listen. I told him that already... His excuse is that he has chosen composition. Indeed his music is published by many publishers and he writes obligatory works for many piano competitions. Perhaps he'll do an interview for my channel someday? I hope...
@@PianoFantasy I look forward, Lars, to hearing him speak and to hearing his recordings - should this become possible. Thanks again. 🤗 Your teacher had great teachers.
Thank for this video! It gives a great motivation! I started at age of 6 and I decided to conclude my studies when I was 34 years old! Within a year, I'll obtain my degree. I do not know what I'll can do with the music, but I would be more focused and less depressed:) Ps- sorry, I do not speak English very well😅
Thanks for your comment! Yes, being motivated is one of the most important factors when it comes to face the challenge to learn playing the piano well. And if improving your playing makes you feel better about yourself, then this is a great motivation!

WONDERFUL!!! Lars, do you have any footage of your teacher - playing or in an interview? It would be great to hear him speak. 🤗
