I'm not a fan of Classroom of the Elite neither have I read the book "48 Laws of Power" but I've already done those laws that you have mentioned without knowing that they actually exist. However, there are some differences in my method. Here are some tips to be a smart and cool student like Ayanokoji without looking like the bad guy.
    - Read books. Being smart is not a miracle, at least read some books and study your subjects very well. We're talking about school here so if you don't have an IQ above 200 and you're lazy asf then stay as that. Don't even bother to read more here.
    - Be 10 steps ahead of everyone but don't be too obvious, do it behind the scene. What I mean is when you're behind of them, you'll see them and their moves. It's an advantage. Stay low-key but don't be a loser.
    - Networking or socializing. Don't be a lone wolf, it won't do good for you.
    - Always act nice to people at the same time observe them. Being kind to them will give you the gate pass to their inner core. They will trust you and they'll be like an open book.
    - Guide yourself too. Don't share enough information about you.
    - Choose your enemy. Don't treat everyone as your enemy, some can be your greatest allies.
    - Save some higher spot. Be a classroom officer or a top student. It'll earn you good reputation. How? #1 Read some books and be a good student. If possible, stick closer to your teachers.
I forgot some other tips and might come back here once I remember things but this is all I can say for now. As a receipt, I graduated valedictorian in our batch using that method and I'm now a 2nd year college student under the program BS in Civil Engineering.

To be fair, not even Elon Musk has 200 iq, so i guess even he isn't worthy enough to partake of your transcendent level of wisdom. Also, no offence, but i've met valedictorians who are pretty dumb, which goes to show that academic prowess does not equate to intelligence level.

  • @ethanlee9016
    @ethanlee9016 2 ปีที่แล้ว +97

Great video, and i appreciate the warning at the beginning. I read this book about 4-5 years ago. Great book but a disclaimer with my experiences.
While these laws are powerful, to prevent yourself falling in the pitfall of paranoia and social paralysis, keep in mind these laws should be practiced in an environment that requires it. They work in this anime because the school is structured with a heavy emphasis on power dynamic and competition. If you try to practice this in a normal college setting and or casual work setting, yeah you can cultivate a level of influence and power, but it's typically unecessary and can do more harm than good.
I particularly found this difficult with laws like "say less than necessary" or "conceal your intentions". Some people feel very uncomfortable if you don't share enough. That and you lack valuable input if you don't share some of your plans. Granted you're protecting yourself, but you fall into the pit of isolating yourself because of it as well as negligence. 48 laws of power, has a nice ring to it, but they should be treated more as guidlines than laws.

It’s nothing special but I just wanted to share that with enough knowledge, experience and hardships you will reach that level where you can read other people’s minds and manipulate people (not in a bad way) thinking they got the advantage but in reality it’s more on your favor.

The light novel is so much better than the anime imo, not because it's a bad adaptation, it's always hard to adapt LN into anime. The reason is that in the anime, Ayanokouji looks listless and doesn't care about almost anything, which can make it boring until we see his plan in action, but in the novel you are seeing the world through his eyes, you get inside his mind and read what he thinks of every situation. He doesn't talk much, so in the anime they just show other people talking and some plane of him staring mysteriously at them, but in the LN you know his opinion on what they're talking about, he thinks of traps they are being put in and constantly evaluates everyone around him. However, the best part is that you still don't know everything he will do. You instead are left out of some tiny bits that seem irrelevant, yet they all join up to make his masterplan

Correct, displaying some important laws at the start of the book and law 21 with law 18 also being usefull with the cats paw being one that ayanokoji uses in the form of kei karuizawa making kushidas uniform dirty so she can wash it, getting rid of the fingerprints without getting his hands dirty, but instead putting the cats paw into the fire.

I suggest reading Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People. It's similar to the 48 laws of power (both allowing you to influence people), although they vary in methods for acquiring "power" with the former book being kinder and less manipulative.

I have never truly outshined people in things that weren’t games only i myself played, so if i began getting physically and academicly stronger No one would expect it.

these 'application' only work for a while and some phases in ones life, once people caught how manipulative and calculative you are towards them, it never ends well, all that you build will crumble like a stack of dominos, life is not as easy as a book make out to be, especially a book made by man who reckon to make mistakes in life, man who cant even control their own behaviour and emotion sometimes, what makes people think the guy who wrote this are able to unlock the whole of human behaviour? sincerity and integrity is the cornerstone of trustworthiness, i met people like this in real life, especially the political ones and i know where he ended up, his life is never in peace for a second, if you really thought using these methods you are ahead of people, then i tell you now, people can always sense whether you are sincere in your actions, like the saying, actions speaks louder than words

You are one of the few mature people in this comments section, I clicked on this video so I could cringe at how stupid the ideas presented in it are. I’m an INTJ 5w6, the same mbti and enneagram type as Ayanokoji, so I relate to the way he views the world, but his behaviour and the ideas presented by Robert Greene are simply inapplicable to real life. I’ve gotten much father by being honest, principled and upright than I ever could by being a Machiavellian manipulator.

Remember even ayonokoji didn't intend to use these laws when he came in contact with normal world.. He just wanted friends, a normal fun filled high school boy life and didn't bothered by anyone.. But the school he ended up was pretty much like another white room, a mini version of it. So he was put on tough spot either he uses these laws or he might get into trouble. The school, his teacher, his class mates, the entire environment indirectly pushed him into using these laws.. The only reason he was ok with this school was because it would keep him away from his dad and that much cruel white room. This school is just a mini version he can handle it.. This school also low key protects students from society which is where his dad and white room exists.. Like if he went to a normal school his dad can easily get him back by submitting a withdrawal application form for his child. Normal school won't meddle in family issues. Normal school won't let you live for free, he has points here with which he can buy his daily necessities and he lives in school dorm. If he went to a normal school he would need money for all of these which he doesn't have, he can work outside a part time job and earn but it would mean constant threat from his dad. So pretty much this school his best and only choice. But in this world everything has a price, this school doesn't run charity by doing all these good things, it's just a mini white room which screws up with kids to produce successful results and upgrade their country.
Now read my fist line again..
If you wanna be like Ayanokoji so that you can be powerful, then your entire idea is flawed. Coz Ayono would never use any of these laws unnecessarily, even gaining power was not in his priority list, this school and white room wanted it, so he used it coz by that way he would be bothered less.
Ayonokoji inherently never desired power, money or anything.. All he wanted was a normal peaceful life afterall..🙃

Watched all your videos I am impressed by the quality of the video and the content you provide for personality development, hereby I declare you as the best channel for personality development... All these things aside I have a suggestion --> make a video on how to manipulate like ayanokoji
    .
    .
    .
And just one more thing don't try to be like ayanogod like he is a god bruhh he has a diff environment and we have diff he is grown up at a place where perfect people are manufactured and you aren't... He is not into socializing with no friends and same mindset which has been given to him like a dose in the white room... And most of us here have some good friends or just friends whom you talk to and if you certainly stop talking or ignoring them bruhhh don't do this.. Don't be a robot like adopt his abilities not personality but yeah his kinda personality mixed with oreki... I mean like your personality should be yourself just add the essence of some fictional or real characters you like about like personally me:- oreki and ayano and koro sensei so yeah don't turn into a heartless like ayanogod be a Human or else there won't be any difference between a human and a robot.... And yeah not everyone is plotting something against you with some devilish agenda... This anime is made in such a way.. if you want to watch an anime like this I suggest you assassination classroom a guidebook to be happy and successful as a "human" and rest is how you view it..

    I previous read the book
It’s nice but I think it’s good for those who are in power or seeking to get power/authority such as politician or democrats etc
it’s also implementable at your workspace however It does have some negative results like not showing your fullest potential which is kind of necessary in a competitive environment where you have to struggle in order to not loose your job(become unemployed)
So it’s pretty much complicated but effective on certain scenarios.
