If no one's told you, the man watching Dimash WAS one of his competitors. He's a famous Taiwanese singer named Terry Lin and yes, he certainly admired Dimash and his spectacular vocal ability but he and Dimash became very good friends and Terry invited and Dimash accepted a guest appearance where he and Terry sang together at one of Terry Lin's concerts.
