Why was the contract awarded to an unknown Arab contractor? Are there no qualified Nigerian contractors or maybe this Arab offered the highest amount in kickbacks than the local contractors.
Would an Arab even give an African a job in their country, let alone road contract. If only this ignorant state governor had travelled around the world, he wouldn't do any favours to any Arab or Indian.
Whenever a new state governor comes to office, the first big project is always road construction -- which is how they enrich themselves by way of receiving kickbacks.
