The 570 seemed quicker from a dead stop but the dealer told me that the 1000 ranger is governed down 15 to 20% they said polaris does that for engine protection. Thanks for sharing, Belt drive? Polaris and others can do better than this for reliability nothing like worrying about shredding a belt while out on the trail having fun
Almost every sxs ever made (besides YXZ and Talon) are belt drive. And under normal operating conditions and proper maintenance they actually aren’t that bad.
Two years on my Defender with no belt issues - and I tow a trailer regularly. My buddy's Viking is going on six years with the same belt. It's the guys that run insane tires and beat them hard that smoke belts.
My cousin has a shaft driven pioneer and he’s the one that told me to go ranger or canam. The throttle is real jerky and is annoying hauling heavy loads over his hills to take hay to his cows. But it does run good. He said the belt drives are tough.

It's usually 1000 in the dump box and 500 for passengers and gear so 1500 combined
Bed is shock assisted
If the load is equal, its kinda like a seesaw, and the shock is there to help on the side you WANT to go up.

That's correct. A locked diff doesn't just tear up grass, but will eat tires like mad if you drive it on pavement.
8 and a half minutes to get to the speed test.
