    I did not doubt that you were going to make it right from the beginning, the video was too long for you to have failed. LOL. I agree that a V-Plow is what works best for breaking through conditions likes this. They equalize the force and allows better control. We use them quite a lot (I am in Atlantic Canada) and have the variable angle type so it is multi-purpose. I plowed with a one-way plow (same as yours but with no angle adjustment) and when the snow built up too much it was very difficult to control, the snow told the loader where it was going, not the loader telling the snow.

      The thumbnail was a bit of a giveaway to 😁 I would like to get a fixed V plow as addition.

    I sure did enjoy watching. Doing what needs doing with what you brought. Thats how it's done sometimes. Thanks for the video!

    That sidewing plow would be nice addition, but professional like you can manage without. Nice V plow and you wouldnt even notice that snow. Nice video like always. Thank You.

      A V-plow is what I’m missing! I’ve been looking for a while but haven’t found what I’m looking for yet.

    I also meant to say I really liked the position of the camera allowing to see the rear of the loader in the mirror. I provides me similar feed back as if I was plowing myself, I am forever checking to see to ground after I have plowed it to see if something changed or became maladjusted.

    That sort of plow is great for on a highway when you have enough speed and clearance to discharge the snow. Not so much for slow going on a forest road. You made it work. I can see where your plow with the wing would work much better here.

      I think you are absolutly correct! 👍I will use the other plow with the side wing next time I'm doing something like this!

    Hi Nicholas caught a couple of your videos already. Your video on deep snow struggles you must adjust your blade angle the attack and pitch to get optimal blade use. You can Google snowplough blade pitch and it will come up with a diagram for you. I believe correct blade angle when plowers level is 70% for proper attack angle.
    When the angles are said correctly, the plough cuts and discharges, and does not push you so hard sideways

    • @neriksso
      @neriksso  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, that’s something to consider. I think the top bar needs to be adjustable in order to get the angles adjusted, maybe it could be replaced with a top link from a 3-point hitch.

    a friend of mine plows logging roads and it's high elevation, but they are chained up to help with traction in the deep snow on there gradder

      You’re right! I have a a set of chains for one axle, but never really needed them on this machine before.

    Good job in difficult conditions given the equipment you have. Is it an old snowmobile track in the middle of the road where someone has then walked? If so that may explain some of your struggles as the track is harder than undisturbed snow and will force your plow sideways. A v-plow would help but if it is a track there even the v-plow will be effected. Regards from south Sweden.

      Thanks! It’s been people walking in the road. Early on this winter I made a couple of passings with my tractor and logging trailer. I think that might have been the most complicating issue.

    Good effort but your blade is bigger then your machine can handle in that type of conditions. Chains all the way around would help steering and traction but your machine is just to small for that size plow in that depth of snow. Always a learning curve when it comes to using those plows. Like the video.

    • @neriksso
      @neriksso  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree on all accounts! 👍 I think the best for me is to let this plow go to a better suited machine and put the money into a V-plow.

    Great job on a tough plow. The camera didn't pick up how steep it was. It was only when you talked about it did I realize how steep it was. Maybe a V-Plow would have been more efficient. Anyway great video!! :):)

    • @neriksso
      @neriksso  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks!! Yes it’s that part of the road is steep and its something with the surroundings even on site and in daylight seeing it’s always steeper then one first thinks, I never get used to it…

    Need some speed to role the snow off the plow so doesn't fall back in behind the plow.
