Shashi Tharoor, Thiruvananthapuram MP sworn in as a member of the 18th Lok Sabha

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor was sworn in as a member of the 18th Lok Sabha on Thursday. Tharoor, MP from Thiruvananthpuram, took oath in English while holding a copy of the Constitution. "Jai Hind, Jai Samvidhan," he said concluding his oath.

The speaker should say "Chaliya Bhaithiya"....A Speaker should know how to give respect to a Member of Parliament...It not only elevated the stature of the respective MP but also his chair and position overall.
