It used to give me so much trouble because I would overthink it. Activate bombs first, then the computer, and when the targeting reticle is over the thing you want to hit, press B. It does all the trajectory calculations for you!
Anytime I see gameplay footage of this game, it's always either speedrun or ace flying to get the gold medal, I wish someone uploaded footage of playing the game while trying to take out every single tie fighter, cannon, atst, etc., like the way I would play when I was a kid
I’ve been experimenting with seeing how many kills I can get on Endor without upgrades. I’d like to put together a “Max kills” video at some point if it ends up being interesting
Good question. The quick kill only works because the Star Destroyers are still moving forward, so when I crash, the explosion hitbox lingers in place and the bridge moves into it, bypassing the shield. If you want too long and the Star Destroyers reach their resting place, the trick no longer works.
Good question. Normally, when you get to that section, the TIEs will shoot at you and the game wants you to slow down so they pass you up and then you can shoot them, after which another wave comes in. The fastest method is to just close your wings and hope you don't die, but if you're willing to sacrifice a couple seconds, you can die in a specific spot to spawn the first wave of TIEs in front of you, and since you never kill them, another wave never arrives to chase you. A tiny bit slower, but extremely consistent.
I've been playing this game for 20 years and I've never been able to get the first-person bombing in the Y wing to work. Impressive!

35:07 The music is perfectly timed.
Imagine you're an imperial trooper and then the greatest pilot in the galaxy just speed runs your at-at and dips
The accuracy throughout it satisfying to see =)
Great accuracy and all round play. I wish they could make a game as good as this today - Squadrons just didn't do it for me!
i always enjoyed crashing before a cutscene for a free repair lmao also great run
Christ, I didn’t know that. I knew that crashing into the command deck to end RR didn’t cost a life but I hadn’t realised it worked for any cutscene.
God, I remember Razor Rendevous being my first real wall and being oppressively difficult... and you just bitchmade it in under a minute.
The secret is to ignore the frigate's pleas for help haha
@@DaymanAAA The Dark Side was right all along...

Why does the Razer have to be taken down in normal fashion but in Endor you only have to Kamikaze into the main deck?

Why'd you take the death in the trench run?
