Love all your videos they are filled with amazing information. I'v been thinking about picking up the shot again its been 7 years since I last threw the shot I'm about to turn 27. I want to pick it up again so I can train and get back into shape and do something in my 'free' time that I enjoy. keep up the great videos!
Great information coach! I would add for middle school throwers to NOT look at where they think the shot will land. When coaches mark the 20', 25' etc lines, young throwers try to throw to the line. How do they know where the line is? They look for it. Chin up, eyes up, point the chest up. Don't worry about the lines!
Hello there! I am a High School thrower, and I use a small crow hop when I throw. My throwing is not very far (or as far as I want it to be) what do you suggest? I do not have and Shots at my home, so I can only use what the school supplies. Are there any workouts I can do or just anything to make me generally throw farther! Thanks!
@@zbeshir8089 no, not necessarily. It could be a comfort factor and allows them to throw farther because of it. No point in fixing something that isn't broken. Thank you for the question!
You're lucky your coach is telling you what they want you to throw. Mine only told me how many feet to throw in the first varsity meet and I hit that easy, now I'm in the 40s and my coach doesn't give me any goals to hit I'm just aspiring for myself lol

I have gone back after throwing for awhile and get so much more from your videos! Thanks
I suffer from flat throws, but I use glide. Is there any way you could do a video over fixing flat throws with the glide technique?
Look up that's all I did. Shot goes wherever you are looking at

@@samadhanbkhedekar1999 Awesome! Thanks for the feedback 💪
Why don't you do any Instagram Q&As anymore? I thought they were very informative and I learned a lot from them
During the quarantine there wasn't as much engagement from throwers, but we will begin to bring them back soon. Thank you for the question 💪
Can you make a video of fixing the angle for shot put
I use the rotational technique and the meet after I watched this video I PR’d by 6 feet

Why do many rotational throwers’ fingers turn up at the finish? I’ve noticed this a lot the more i look at it.
Could have to do with ball being placed further back on the neck. Thank you for the question 👍
Throws University Is it a bad thing since a lot of good throwers do it

I have lack of aggression during throw what should I do for that😕
Thank you for the question Manit. Try taking caffeine and pre workout before training and just go into SMASH MODE! 👍
@@ThrowsUniversity sir but pre workout is good for i am just 17 years old and I threw 7.26kg 15 m
@@manitsharma9975 yeah you can definitely take pre workout. About 400 to 600 mg of caffeine should spark you up.
