I think this song is really relatable for when you are in love with someone who doesn't realise how much more valuable your love is than they think. One day, they will realise that you possibly were the one for them, but they will sit alone, thinking back to when you told him/her that you loved them, but they rejected your love and now are wishing that you were with them right now ;(
