Thank you for taking the time to do this. It helped me greatly. I have been mulling this over for over a year. I seem to still want one. If I do would it be possible for me to purchase the better de- capping Sensor from your friend? If not I understand. I enjoy your vids. I’m thinking also of putting one on my 650 so I don’t have to make that PUSH back with the handle to seat the primer. That’s what I love about my 1050 is the one pull on handle does it all. Any advice is welcome. Again thank you!!
Right now due to a physical move the shop is down and my friend isn't doing any machining. That will change shortly as soon as his new shop is complete. But it doesn't matter, you still need to purchase the Mark 7 decapping sensor anyway because my friend is just re-manufacturing the housing, not the sensor. You must take the sensor supplied by Mark 7 and put it in the new housing. Personally, my advice is forget the decapping sensor. It's a total waste of money if you plan to use the swage option. The two of these items are redundant and the swage is important for consistent primer function. If you fail to eject a primer the swager will pick it up as a ringer anyway and stop the press. Save your money.
Have you had any issues with the motor or core components, linkages controller etc? I know you had issues with the decap sense. How many rounds do you have on it?
Great advice. I will go that route. Thank you!
A honest opinion. I own the same 1050/w Mark 7. Everything you said is true. But I am happy that I owe it and would buy it again.
Hello, can you tell me the laser balls sensor if it is PNP or NPN? Can you kindly take a picture of the instruction manual? Thanks Alberto
