- The last of the 5 Special Episodes. Grovyle sacrifices himself in order to give the 2 main heros a chance at preventing the planet's paralysis. In doing so, he travels back to the future world. He makes it his main objective to stop Primal Dialga from travelling back to the past.

The thing about this special episode that always stuck with me:
The future didn't change when you defeated Dialga in the past and fixed temporal tower. The future began to change when Dusknoir opened his heart and saved Grovyle.
Dusknoir's plan would have succeeded, and it was that moment, that choice, that mattered.
I love this special episode so much. 😭
Watching Celebi in Grovyle's arms... What seem to be their last seconds together... It always makes me cry.

To be fair, Mamoswine do hit really hard
Just remember, dusknoirs plan was to flat out kill grovyle by sapping out his spirit, possess his body, and go back to the past yet again to try and stop you and your partner.
When you think about it thats an extremely dark plot point for a game thats rated Pegi 3

I don’t think any Mystery Dungeon part is as drastic as that Grovyle being electrocuted by those ice pillars scene. Not even Kyurem killing Hydragon came close.
And it was quite terrifying. Tho I will say the damn dialogue is amazing

The entire PMD series are just a totall different level compared to the anime or regular pokemon games.
Agreed, and this one is the best, in my opinion at least.
Gamefreak actually has nothing to do with PMD games. They only make the main series games and are definitely not capable of creating a game with a great story like PMD Sky. The actual developers of PMD is a company called spike chunsoft.

I don't know but this game for then ending of the main story and this always make for like I want to cry cause it's honestly such an emotional moment. But that's just a me thing haha

I still think Darkrai would be a better “Leader” that took Dusknoir’s place, than Spiritomb
No Spiritomb wasn't the replaced leader, nor was Dusknoir replaced. Dusknoir had Spiritomb to assist him to lead Grovyle to that place. Dusknoir ordered the Sableye to attack him and lie about the replacement.
51:09 Dialga is talking about Arceus.
Indeed, there's but 1 being that's higher than Dialga, and that's Arceus
Objectively, it would have been better if they had left it as a loose end (as in Time/Darkness), implying that they simply disappeared and that's it (because then the question arises, who brought them back to life and how?).

Assuming it brought back all the good parts, and added some quality of life improvements, like better storage, then I agree!
When do we unlock this Special Episode?
After beat wigglytuff
You unlock special episodes whenever you finished a certain part in the story line.
I think this is only avaible in pokemon mystery dungeons explorers of sky.
Not in darkness or time unfortunately.
I could be wrong but yeah.

I heard these rumors yeah but i mean, Mystery gifts aren't avaible anymore unless you cheat them xD
