@xd ZwanzwaN Disagree. Redstone is really quite basic, anyone can start doing it. (You can tell by the way he naturally learns how to get stuff done in this video) Mastering it however is a completely different can of worms because that will require you to learn all the quirky little mechanics, both the intended and unintented ones.
@@furcornmanwiththemasterpla8380 I mean... Not really. Sure, ilmango comes up with banger ideas, but Mumbo can do good redstone. Probably better than you ever will.
at the beginning you should've used a stone button so it would be 0.5s faster, which means that the redstone circuit would end earlier so could create a loop when you press the button.
I've been seeing a lot of people saying that his struggle with some redstone made them wince or something along those lines, but the fact he could figure this out at all (especially with nearly no prior redstone knowledge) is absolutely insane to me. He even learned what a comparator was and implemented it seamlessly. This entire thing is wonderful Levi I hope you had a fun time in Minecraft.
That's actually a really interesting way of using the comparator! I don't think many people would have thought of that, especially among people who didn't know how it worked. It's amazing that you're willing to do research into what you're using to use it to the best of your ability. :D
This is just the beginning buddy... Theirs still other Redstone things to add that make sound affects that could be used in songs.... Like doors opening and closing or a despencer shooting things
Just wait until this mans learns about monostable circuts, redstone torches, redstone torch monostable clocks, hopper clocks, and t-flip flops. Using these he can implement some features from his music development software.
When working with a melody, you can set out the noteblocks off to the side like you did your sound test blocks in the video. Set the pitch for each note you'll need, then when you go to place those notes in your actual song you can use ctrl+shift+middle click (or whatever "pick block" is set to in your controls) on the sample noteblock and it will add a noteblock into your hotbar that when placed will be set to the same note as the sample note block you clicked on. So if you need the notes E A and G for your melody set 3 noteblocks on the side and click them till you have your three notes, then any time you need an A for example head over and Ctrl+Shift+pick block and then the highlighted notblock in your hot bar will be an "A" when placed, then once they're in your song you can switch to copying those ones to your hot bar to save you traveling back and forth as much. Also, for an ascending melody just copy the last block you placed, place it and click it a few times to raise the note from the previous note. Hopefully this can save you some clicking in the future!
@xd ZwanzwaN It's not too long nor is it overly complicated. In fact, it gives just enough explanation: what it does, where it can be used, how to do it, why it is useful, and a few examples. Quite frankly, if you are explaining something, but you don't cover the basics - who, what, where, when, why - or at least the ones that are viable to what you are explaining, then it is not enough information to grab the attention of the person you are intending it for, and how to actually use the information for whatever it may be used for.
