    I was part of an archaeological expedition for the national mongolian museum rescuing looted graves in darkhad valley; one of the mongolian team played me 'yuve yuve yu' on his phone and I was moved and happy to hear the HU talking about bringing respect back to their ancestors. looting is having a terrible impact on understanding the beauty of ancient mongolia. the permafrost is melting and artefacts are leaving the safe embrace of ice... at the same time looters are throwing bones aside and leaving torn rare silk garments woven with gold thread and other amazing Deel, bow and arrows all wrecked (throwing rocks back ontop of ancient ceramics too, likely not even knowing they were there), just to get gold jewellery (greed). they loot in a hurry so ruin many graves. the context of the ancients must be protected. these graves were 800 years old from chinngus khan's time. the eternal is being looted... and those people doing it have lost so much of their culture and spiritual belonging, it is difficult for other mongolians to punish them, but the black market for artefacts needs to go... and setup instead cultural centres ran by local mongolian guarding proudly their ancestors graves and relics... showing preserved examples on display from each region, bring pride to showing the most undamaged examples. stop it from being disrespected.

      IM mongol and if anyone looted George Washingtons grave id made sure theyd never get out alive, we respect our allies as much as ourselves that is why Mongols never destroyed anyones history during our conquest, to everyone youre one with us a universal being let it be that the unjust will be brought down and the just will rise.

    • @nixellion
      @nixellion 4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Well, not so special, I suppose people for whom English language is native are just less used to it, because majority of popular music is in English. My first language is Russian, and for a long time I did not understand songs, until I learned the language well enough. Now I can easily understand any song's lyrics, I've known English for years now, and watch all movies and shows in English, but the bonus is that I can actually control it. Sort of decide whether I want to understand the lyrics or just listen to it like 'a voice instrument'. Now this kind of control is something very cool. And if a song is in Russian it's much harder for me to do it. But with a language I dont know entirely like this, yeah, it's also different.

    Being a traveler, a nomad… going out without losing track of our origins, paying attention, opening our eyes, mind or soul sensitivity to hidden charms, fascinating secrets that are waiting to be known…
    Interaction with diversity is a good way to develop respect for all forms of life; through interaction with the unknown or in the incredible exchange of our subjectivity with other human beings (sometimes through a simple smile or look), we build / transform ourselves, share dreams, reach for stars, a sky painted with the colors of rainbow…
    We are all star dust, nomads, travelers who dance on a cosmic journey; let us look each other in the eye, listen carefully, let the cup overflow and love come out…
    In our hearts we will keep treasures of human knowledge, places, landscapes, dreams, songs that speak to our soul ...

      As good as these guys are, and they are very good, the woke left will never allow that to happen due to the "toxic masculinity" dripping from this song or for that matter all of their songs including their song "Women".
      Message to the left. Go back to sleep I liked you better that way.

    • @IAmValenwind
      @IAmValenwind 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@iamjackalope i don't think you understand what toxic masculinity is.
      there was a time when a good man would speak his mind, was honest, and stood by his word, he was considered a "straight shooter". no beating around the bush; no kowtowing because of power or politics; and unintimidated by bullies, whether they are bigger in stature, in number, in vocabulary, in power, or whatever trappings of this world could cause someone to pull rank... if something is good, he'll say it, and if something is bad, he is just as quick to say it... he calls things as he sees them, not as the world wants him to see it.
      now, men of your ilk will say whatever you feel is politically expedient to put yourself in power, and stay in power. you will lie, cheat, and steal from me, call your actions good, then ask why i am so upset by it.
      there was a time when a good man would watch out for the weak, the helpless, those in need. willing to stand up for the little guy, no matter how big or little he actually is. charitable in heart, but more apt to "teach a man to fish" than to "give a man a fish". willing to take a bullet for people he's never met because it's the right thing to do.
      now you tell the poor to pull themselves up by their bootstraps right after you steal their boots. you blame a person for their poverty as you walk away with the finest fishing gear and more fish than you could possibly eat, and throw away the leftovers to rot. you won't even take a bullet for your own family, nevermind your fellow man that's a little different from you.
      there was a time when a good man would live by a moral code, but that is not to say it is your, or anyone else's, moral code. it is what he knows to be right, regardless of what the populace says is right or not. he lives a disciplined life, knowing the virtues of strength of the mind, the body, the soul, and the spirit. he stands up for those who are his, and he is not jealous, but rather, is complimented at the fact that others want his girl... yet he is the one who has her, because he pleases her.
      now you have no moral code other than what your favored meme tells you to live by. you forego what is right in favor of what satisfies your ego. you bully a woman into becoming yours, then humiliate and discard her like used up trash if she doesn't please you enough.
      there was a time when a good man might be christian, or buddhist, or atheist, or something else entirely... but whatever path he walks, he is surefooted in it, and isn't afraid to shrug off the slurs of the rest of the world because his actions show that his love is for his family, his neighbor, his community, his people, and mankind itself.
      now, you would drag a man behind your car for being gay, beat a woman for speaking up, push a sihk into an oncoming train because you think he is a muslim and deserves death, chant for hatred against people with different skin colors and eye shapes than you, and fly the flag of a traitorous nation that sought to enslave its own people.
      there was a time when a good man did not have to have a chest full of hair and be a musclebound lunk to prove his masculinity. all he had to do was to do the right thing.
      now you on the right have forgotten these things... the things your ancestors knew full well.
      your ancestors knew how to do the right thing. your father did not.
      i see nothing toxic about The Hu... but i see plenty that is toxic from you.

    It is safe to say that in all my years of listening to music, I can count on one hand the number of albums that have captured my soul the way this album has. Musically, lyrically and emotionally “The Gereg” is quite simply stunning! I am so happy to have found “The Hu” and their music and am looking forward to adding their vinyl to my collection.

    This truly brings me to tears while listening thinking about a rider pushing his horse day and night with the Gereg heavy in his satchel. What news does he bring? What has he seen?
    I can feel the trust bestowed upon him and the glory that pushes him to cast away weakness.
    What importance to be lost to the sands of time. What strength channeled through this song.
