"Shoog shoog" is shamanic calling for the ancestral spirits. Tengerism or Shamanism was the main "religion" of the Mongols, the rituals still practiced widely. Overall in this song, they are asking and praying our ancestors to help make everything good for Mongolia and its people.
It's the overall rhythm of the song. Similar to Queen's We Will Rock You. It's a simple yet emotionally pervading rhythm that ignites basic desires. It can be either even or odd in count depending on what you count for the rhythm. (Not a music expert. Best I could do. Try to avoid taking over small cities on your way to work. )
I am having same feelings to The HU creation. The powerful wild and authentic sound their songs get up my soul up from the deepest depths to the light.
Ironically, I found the HU during an MRI. I was given headphones to listen to music, when asked what style, I told her Metal. Once I heard them, I had to find out who they were. Been a fan since. Donated and watched their live concert stream for COVID in 2020. Love their version of "Metallica" songs!!! This band is Awesome! Its another level of metal. You cannot sit still when listening to them.
These guys are doing everything right. They are different and refreshing. Lyrics and Music blending in from their Mongolian roots, rich in ancient culture. Their use of attire and music instruments adding to the quality. Then they are also making tunes that have a hook. If this song hits it off, you'll have metal heads all over the world going "Shoog Shoog!". It's a perfect type of metal anthem.
My mother is Kalmyk. The Kalmyks were one of the four heirs or original tribes of Chingghis Khan known as the Oirats. Mongols are scattered across the world but even so, had a profound impact on world history. The Kalmyks themselves never gave up their horsemanship and were Cossacks known as the "Hells Devils" by Napoleon. They led to his defeat and pushed him all the way back to Paris. A famous lithograph of Kalmyk or Mongols in Paris demonstrated they were some of the greatest warriors in history.
That's amazing! My grandfather got the chance to work with Cossacks during the Cold War era, and learned a lot from them. Him and his best friend at the time (a Cossack himself) published a book about the experience, though I haven't been able to find it. Apparently, one of the reasons they got along so well was because granddad was the one of the few that took their advice on horsemanship and put it to use.

One of the best bands I never heard on my entire life, you have the soul of genghis khan on your hearts, conquering the world again, greetings from México, blessings from tengri upon you
The Hu once again rocks the world.
The coolest and most melodic bass line I've ever heard. Shoog!
the vibe never fails. the unspoiled naturality of a shamanic culture, there is no music to wake up the spirit any better than this. and its rock :D
I agree with you
Individually they are amazing musicians
But they have a special synergy that elevates the music
Our dog loves the throat singing
They are incredible

The big at Manchester was AMAZING ...if you haven't booked to see them you REALLY should
How the heck could you NOT like this. I can't get it out of my head now. When they come they will entertain you... UNTIL THEY CONQUER YOU.

Granny Winters here. Another song from my new favorite metal band from Mongolia!! Been waiting for more songs from this awesome group, and they “hit it outta the park” with this one!! Waiting for the release of their album on iTunes!! Can hardly wait for the America Tour!! I’m hoping they make St. Louis one of their concert stopoff!! I may be 55, but I’ve been listening to “hard rock 🤘,” “Acid Rock🤘,” “heavy metal🤘” and “metal🤘” since I was a teenager from 1978 (14) to today, 2019 (55)!!
Much ♥️
Granny Winters
I think that Chicago is as close to St. Louis that they will be.
Riot Fest, September 13 thru 15 in Chicago.
Storm Chaser, I guess a Chicago weekend is in my future! Thanks!!
Lyricks suck
There is more talent in this song alone than the past decade of all pop music radio songs combined.
Respect and love from Mizoram, India.
