The Rosicrucian Order(s) always fascinated me. Thank you and Regulus, for this overview. It seems as if no religious or comprable organization can survive the divisive "human factor", causing fractions and splits throughout their histories. Best wishes.

PP🌹 I'm a member of AMORC for a long time and initiated in the 10th degree. You have done a wonderful job explaining the differents between the orders. We have no dogma's and we are indeed an ancient mystical order as you said. Through the lessons in the monthly monographs we learn and grow as divine beings. A spiritual alchemistic proces so to speak. Everyone is welcome, we are one. We do great cosmic works in the temple for the well being and peace. At home we all have our own private sanctum where we read and practice the teachings.
Keep up the good works! Your interview with Pr Dr Wouter Hanegraaff is brilliant, as he is a wonderful teacher in Hermetica. I ordered his new book..
Can you do a video about frequency of the written word? Or spoken word. Amd the impact on the reciever?

My grandmother just moved from one care facility to a different one that has more high level of care because her dementia is getting pretty bad. So she had to get rid of most of her things. I was helping sort through with the stuff she kept and we found all of their old Freemasonry things. My grandfather who died a few years ago, I believe he was a Grandmaster of a lodge in Saskatchewan at one point in the 70s. he might have just been a member but that’s what my mother told me. My grandmother was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. I took home a couple of the hats and a little book that is very hard to understand. It has a bunch instructions about The Work and lots of Acronyms. I would love to learn how to understand it.

I've read Samael Aun Weor's 'The Revolution of Beelzebub' and had an interesting experience with one of the astral passwords mentioned in the book: Mathra pronounced "Mazra". According to Weor their origin are from Atlantis. Do you know how these passwords fell into the hands of the Rosicrucians? My hypothesis is that they perhaps got the passwords via the Pythagorean school or from Egypt.

Thank you for the illuminating lecture Dr. Puca! After watching, i did a little bit of (tbh, very shallow) research and uncovered a bunch of intriguing connections. Excited to get in deeper when it is time. The theosophy i am interested in is informational in nature and a corresponding sort of interface theory that takes the structure of structural realism (or Perennialism and all the different Kabbalah[s]) and deletes the realism for similar reasons why physicists like Dr. Wheeler do so in a quantum information bit approach. But to add to the awesomeness i also find embedding quantum systems in a two-time state math so that the rays behave in a standard evolution (i.e., no measurement problem) very fruitful. This means that fate or destiny behaves mathematically as a force of nature. i know this sounds like quantum woo, but it is the other way around. More like using computational and information based approaches from physics and math and using those type-structures to reinterpret what Peter Carroll calls the magickal structure of the universe. Instead of it being the magickal structure of the universe, it is the magickal structure of our interface, our informational matrix we call the world of action. and the 'quantum woo' is analogous not to our world but to the world of formation (since according to the Sefer Yetzirah, time does not have a direction there as well). All order is an emergent structure supervening on random fluctuations in a field of chaos. True in physics, true in life. Thank you for providing light upon our path! Pluralism is love!

Was hoping to hear more on on Dr. Randolph, and Dr. Clymer. Out of all the modern Rosicrucian orders I find their literature to be the most interesting and helpful. All though I don't agree with all of it, it has helped me signicantly. Espescially the rarer and non published works. They have had a special part in my library lately.
Divine Alchemy, The Book of the Masters, Affectional Alchemy, etc are some facinating reads. Heindels teachings and the Rosicrucian Fellowship has also helped a lot.. I find AMORC very interesting, but in my opinion the teachings string you a long for lack of better term. Much of the literature is more basic and takes a while before it gets into the more esoteric. While their literature is still very insightful I find it lacks substance sometimes.
But there is no denying AMORC has helped a lot of people, and still does.

It would be wonderful if you would do a video on the Gnostic Movement from Mexico to which you referred! I believe you are speaking of Samael Aun Weor if i’m not mistaken.

    • @FrostedSeagull
      @FrostedSeagull 2 ปีที่แล้ว

That would indeed be very interesting.
WHYV - Samaul Aun Weor had admitted that the:
      i. Freemasons
ii. Rosicrucian rituals state, over interllectualised and became another secret (occult) religion.
iii. Theosophist too, he said were also seriously mistaken as they too mimimalised the importance of diminishing and altogether erradicating the EGO.
SAW clarified the difference between Return & Recurrence AND RE- incarnation.
SAW explained the difference between the Cycle of constant Return which is NOT re-incarnation but rather, like mice we are trapped in the Wheel of Samsara.
I e. We return to the same situatio, same dramas and same EGOS life after life for 108 cycles. You then enter the Abyss (hell) and the Egos are dissolved with great pain and suffering.
I was in a Gnostic Group based on Samuel's teachings. Samuel's main premise was that to stop the constant cycle of Samsara, you have to annihilate the EGOS a la the Tibetan Buddhists. We studied the Egos for months.
I had a friend who moved from a Rosicrucian Group to a Blavatsky Theosophist group. She said the Theosophists belived or had faith that if you purify your thoughts l, deeds & actions. Your own Angel will help you rise above the mire ( Egos).
She was stunned at how long we spent on Ego annihilation and the prayers we used. She said they probably spent 2 x 1.5 hour lectures on the Egos with the main premise that yes, you had to be aware of them BUT they weren't that necessary to the Great Work. We had some intense, interesting debates.
Master Samael claimed that by the 1920's Freemasons was that they had become a farcial secret club playing dress ups and conferring degrees with mystery passwords.
The Rosicrucian Movement too began well but fell into the exact same trap
I.e. stylised psychodrama with relevant Gnostic buzzwords.
The EGO must be annihilated in stages and Masters from Temples in the 4th, but especially the 5th & 6th Dimensions provide these degrees as opposed to human beings in the Third Dimension.
      REGARDING REincarnation
Only a Masters can truly reincarnate
      e.g. the Dalai Lama
Ultimate irony, most, not all, Christian Gnostics had done the exact thing to Samuel's work as had the Freemasons and Rosicrucians previously.
Master Samuels teachings have become a religion, unfortunately, run by fanatics.

My take on AMORC is that their purpose was to free us from the cycle of death and rebirth same as Buddhism, and the teachings in all those little green or white and blue pamphlets was supposed to be what frees its members from rebirth.

My grandfatrhe used to be an administrator in AMORC and was an active member most of his life. He knew a lot about the organisation. He was always doing their little rituals and concentartion exercises. He used to tell stories about the organisation.
AMORC makes a lot of extraordinary claims that, if true, would revolutionise human history .Among the stories are one you mentioned. My grandfather hasn't seen any of the supporting documents that back up theri claims.
In their publications, AMORC claims it descends from an Egyptian mystery school dating to Thutmose 3/Akhnetan. They claim the documents are stored in their secret library in San Jose.
Also, AMORC claims it has secret maps recovered from the lost continents of Lemuria and Mu and Atlantis, of course. Can't forget Atlantis. They claim these maps were made by respective inhabitants of Lemurian, Mu, and Atlantis.
When these continents sank due to the misuse of weaponized Power Crystals by their rulers, these +++10000 year old maps were taken to Egypt. AMORC claims ot be founded by the rulers of ATlantis. These maps are also stored int he archives of their library in San Jose.
Also, AMORC claims it has demonstrated transmutation of lead into gold. H. Spencer Lewis himself said this; the proof, they claim, is in the archives with their other priceless documetns.
AMORC makes many other claims and says they have the proof in their San Jose vault.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. Since its founding, AMORC has failed to show these documents to the public. They haven't shown one photograph.
Certainly some high ranking person at San Jose HQ has see them. Speak up.
Has anybody seen these maps and otehr historical documents and artefacts? You will change the world. You will probably win a Nobel Prize.

Nobody's spoken up - I think you should take that as a sign that you're talking a load of 🐂💩, which is exactly what you are. Rosicrucians do not claim to have originated from Atlantis, their history begins in the 16th century, and they based their structure (and a lot of philosophy and practice) on Egyptian sources, amongst several others. Its believed that some of the philosophies and ideas may have originated in Atlantis if it existed. I'm a member of AMORC and I've never heard that claim.

Whilst you are clearly a rigorous academic, your elocution is delicious.

I used to be in AMORC. It's unnecessary to understand the "mysteries" of Rosicrucianism.
You're better off avoiding secret societies, and covens to reach "enlightenment." Typically you waste a lot of time, moving up degrees, and endless reciting.

Your comment is a typical example of "how to show you know nothing about the Rosicrucians without saying you know nothing about Rosicrucians" 😂😂😂😂😂

Thank you, Dr. Do you know anything about, Harut and Marut as they are known in Islam and Zoroaster. In Bible and Torah they have other names. The two divine angels that fell from Gods grace. The root cause of your subject, magick.

Could one of them be Azaziel ?... Azaziel is the Judaic angel that fell from grace.

@@franchi8601 That only Dr. Angel, Dr. Justin or “ Let’s talk religions “ can shed light on. That can be a fascinating subject. All religions seem to mention them under different names.

Well...love me sum steaks and wine all kinds! Ha! Any idea if the Gnostic movement of Mexico borrowed from Samuel Aun Weor from Brazil (or Argentina?) Just curios if the systems are similar. Very interesting the numerous splits common to all "religions" even if they don't consider their system a religion. [Btw...That was indeed a mouthful 😋 🤌 ] Thank you for the nut shell synthesis!
