    Larry Chen did a great review of this car. The level of detail on this car is amazing.

    We need a 2022 GR86 build from MotoIQ, specifically for the suspension setup.
    The Porsche is incredible. No doubt.

    Not much of a Porsche fan but you have to have no pulse to not be amazed by this one, I would love to see more extended cuts of cars put together as well as this one. For the next one hopefully a test drive would be possible also!

    Absolutely stunning build, tons of thought and art injected into this car. I hate to say this, but a 43 minute video and you didn’t even start the car😅 not cool 😂

    I think he has more than 500k into this build the only way he doesn't is possibly donations to the build otherwise with all the detailed work from body to paint to drive trane and interior i can see 500k easy Congratulations on a build for the ages.

      Its possible but its not going to be a pleasant street car.

      @@motoiq Thanks, I have a slicktop 300ZX and I was torn as to making it into a lightweight, high revving car (think S200) or making it even lighter by installing an aluminum LS engine. But you just made up my mind for me. Thanks again.

    I wonder if that gold heat rejection coating put on domes/chambers/exhaust valves would be good on an air/oil cooled car. Would it make it harder for heat to exchange into the oil? This thing is amazing

    • @motoiq
      @motoiq  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it keeps the heat out of those parts.

    • @slfrules1
      @slfrules1 ปีที่แล้ว

      lol I had a dumb moment there. The heat will be rejected from those parts and sent out the exhaust leaving less work for the oil.

    Sickest Porsche I've EVER SEEN!! The incredible detail dawn the EVERY nut and bolt.... amazing. Not too many people think to use one off titanium bolts. And the INSANE craftsmanship that went into the bumpers and the trunk. Absolutely superb 👌!! Keep bringing us this level of art, and I don't see how anyone who loves cars could complain. That being said, I'm not in anyway complainin, but I would like to see some more subaru stuff. Older GC8 stuff and newer as well. Thanks for awesome content! Keep up the good work, and congratulations to everyone involved with this build. Incredible...

    • @motoiq

    Great Vid. A nice touch would have been to at least fire it up & let us hear the idle! I bet that was close to a $200K build if not more?

    • @overbuiltlimited

      I have a $235K build and I haven't even touched the interior or paint yet. This is waaaaaay beyond $200K

    At (10:12) when you talk about your car being a Porsche 911 SC my car is a 1978 Porsche 911 SC I had an SSI exhaust and a Dansk Muffler and I had to take it off because it would not pass smog. I want that Manifold on my Porsche it makes 20 more HP and even though it runs better and cleaner they don't care they don't want it on your Porsche if it is not legal. How do you pass smog? What do I have to do that makes it so I can have that Manifold. I want to Hot Rod the engine. The owner of Rasant who builds engines and sells that Manifold said I can get 283 HP
    without it driving like a race car more like a stock Porsche. If I want more HP I have to have Higher Compression. I can also run a Supercharger would give me more HP. I was hoping for around 380 HP or more. Does anyone know what I have to do and where I go so I can pass smog and where I go to get it approved? I'm told I can't run that Manifold he has. How are you passing smog with that engine? I'm told your car has to be a 1975 or older to pass smog. You can't modify anything newer than 1975 or older. They have a State referee bar program. The car has to be Carb
    approved. This is something A BMW has to do. California engine swaps the cops can’t touch | MODIFIED th-cam.com/video/VjSUwykYa5Q/w-d-xo.html Any help would be great to know how I can run that Manifold and pass smog and run aftermarket legal exhaust and Muffler that will pass smog. They are Cracking down on Modified cars and cars with special tunes. I want to know how to get all around this and pass smog. You have to put a special sticker on your car so they know about what was done to your car. Thank You! for sharing Best Regards.

    • @motoiq
      @motoiq  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You cannot run any aftermarket performance parts and pass smog unless they have a CARB EO number no exceptions except for a cat back exhaust.

    • @harmonica212
      @harmonica212 ปีที่แล้ว

      @MotoIQ, Thank You that is very helpful. But where do I get a CARB EO number at the DMV?

    • @motoiq
      @motoiq  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have to buy parts with a CARB EO#. Unfortunately, there are not many.

    My dad was a Porsche tech in the 80s and 90s...nothing impressed him all he ever commented on was if it was reliable and easy to work on. After 20 years nothing impressed him anymore
