I really like how some of the bunnies aren't confident enough in themselves to make the jumps on the first go, and just need a little bit of encouraging cuddling. That's fucking lovely.
this is wonderful! those rabbits adore what they do - the first one in the high-jump was pulling on the leash like mad! they see the jump and they WANT to do it! i don't understand why people think this is cruel - rabbits are built to jump. we all see them hopping around, its how they move, and a happy rabbit "binkies" - basically jumps up into the air! i nthe wild, a rabbit that can jump higher and longer than the others is more likely to survive. this is brilliant! well done winners :)
So..............you ever be watching something that you've Stumbled upon , and watch the ENTIRE Clip and then ASK yourself............ Why did I just watch this..?? Me neither..😑
I think that it is different what breed that are best for rabbit hopping depending on the caracteristics of the breeds in the different parts of the world. In Denmark lops sized about 1.5-2.5 kg and mixtures of different breeds are most used...
also, i have 2 female Netherland dwarfs and i would love to teach them to do this! they are 3 months old so i haven't done any training, i set up small jumps in my room and they free school themselves, but i was wondering if its possible to train N. Dwarfs as they are so small. its hard to find harness' to fit them. would it perhaps be possible to clicker train them to jump without a harness?...
@Eggs4Eva Which would be better? The rabbit receiving an unneccesary pep talk? Or the rabbit needing the morale boost and having made the jump partially because of it?
@vixitrixalina ...(carried on) i notice these rabbits are of lop/dutch veriety and the jumps are suitably bigger. are smaller courses available for smaller rabbits? finally, i live in England. there are very few rabbit hopping shows each year - i DO know of a rabbit hopping compunity which does about 3 each yeah but they are so far away. it's fraustrating - i think more people must get involved with this!
It is difficult to say, as the breeds do not have the same characteristics in different parts of the world. In Denmark most of the rabbits used for rabbit hopping er mini loops or large mixed "mini loops", but I think that the mini loops in general are much more compact in England, US and Australia...
SO cool, My bunny can jump little 5 inch hurdles, but she's not nearly to the point where she could compete. Maybe someday I will train her to do it professionally.
My baby has no motivation at all. Only lazing and being fussed over. Shes in her late yrs of 8 going on 9 next yr. She can hav the luxury and pace she wants. She is my partner and companion (not my pet), ill let her live her final yrs in peace and happiness of little change

AmateurHourSquared it’s not as fucking lovely when you fucking swear about it
Binky & Bonney but by your swearing makes you just as bad as them? Cough cough hypocrite

I think that it is different what breed that are best for rabbit hopping depending on the caracteristics of the breeds in the different parts of the world.
In Denmark lops sized about 1.5-2.5 kg and mixtures of different breeds are most used...
What does the clicking do?
These rabbits are superstars.

Holland lops, Harlequins, & the Dutch are the most common breeds used but you can use any.
This makes me proud to be danish.
Where can I buy these obstacles for my bunny? (Hungary)
Libra Artic are the best place to buy them: facebook.com/LibraArtic
Yet another example of how the Scandinavian countries have the best quality of life in the world.
@Eggs4Eva Which would be better? The rabbit receiving an unneccesary pep talk? Or the rabbit needing the morale boost and having made the jump partially because of it?
Best bunnys ever
@Ix3GaGa Yea it looked like either she needed a longer leash or she needed to move faster to keep up with her rabbit.
That rabbit is jumping like 6 times its own height... That's fucking impressive.
guys just look at the long jump.. anyone else imagined the rabbit being tossed like a bowling ball?!?

@vixitrixalina ...(carried on) i notice these rabbits are of lop/dutch veriety and the jumps are suitably bigger. are smaller courses available for smaller rabbits? finally, i live in England. there are very few rabbit hopping shows each year - i DO know of a rabbit hopping compunity which does about 3 each yeah but they are so far away. it's fraustrating - i think more people must get involved with this!
at 0:33 does she give the bunny a pep talk? does the rabbit doubt his capabilities?
Why do they click???
What's the clicking noise in the background, anyone know?
I've heard of the Bunny-hop before but this is redonk!
Well dun Buns
i wonder if you can use any breed
Why do the trainers click their tongues?
what breed is best for this
Could someone tell me what breeds tend to do best with hopping and agility?
It is difficult to say, as the breeds do not have the same characteristics in different parts of the world.
In Denmark most of the rabbits used for rabbit hopping er mini loops or large mixed "mini loops", but I think that the mini loops in general are much more compact in England, US and Australia...
Bjerner I think it mini lops lol
Disappointed there is no slow mo.
Well... im from Denmark... and this is nothing compared to what you can find over here?
Damn...if they taught each other that...they'll be like invincible.
@Quilyan you need to make that sound to catch the rabbit's attention
who are these people ?
what nature is best for this???
So, it has begun....
how did i end up here again?
@Yelaih66 yes some people encourage then to go over with the clicking sound, I usually make the clicking noise or tickle my rabbits belly.

Amazing bunnies.😊
Allėz hop!
@AimiriZ Not among the winners this year...
Wie bringt man sowas bei?
Where can I buy these jumps? (UK)
Winters are long and cold in Denmark. People need to find way to keep busy. I guess.

Cute girls and bunnies. Can't really go wrong, can you?
IN DENMARK, RABBITS TRAIN YOU.
SO cool, My bunny can jump little 5 inch hurdles, but she's not nearly to the point where she could compete. Maybe someday I will train her to do it professionally.

I typed in "High bunny hop" and this came up. I was talking about bmx...
Because they are Danish.
a rabbit can jump longer than me
1:58 the bunny is taking a look of how long it has to jump..
@LMTR14 They wouldn't do it if they didn't like it

Why was that girl giving that bunny a shake before the long jump, he looks like a ragdoll!
My baby has no motivation at all. Only lazing and being fussed over. Shes in her late yrs of 8 going on 9 next yr. She can hav the luxury and pace she wants. She is my partner and companion (not my pet), ill let her live her final yrs in peace and happiness of little change
Kender en som spang 1 meter og 23 cm, hvorfor er hun ikke med😅
Det må være fordi hun ikke har stillet op til officiel konkurrence ;-)

It's kinda like Sweden in that regard
i know the girl that won:D just throwing it out there:)

Man kann einen Hase hochheben, nicht mit der Leine hochziehen. Der läuft doch auch nciht weg, wenn man ihn am Ende in den arm nehmen möchte
