Getting ready to do something similar on a 64 I bought. I was going to buy those replacements but I ended up finding a 64 four door with really solid floor Pan from trunk to front. So I’m gonna keep the frame and floor Pan from the 4 door and put my 2 door on it. Sweet car man. I love that patina rust look.
I like the way you got that going on, I solder work the way. At least I know the pain is completely gone. But I still cut it out in sections just like you are doing. I've been hammering and beating around for about 60 years on wonderful junk 😅🎉❤
The right car for the right price with the right amount of elbow grease doesn’t matter what it looks like you turn in anybody’s dream car I’m working on one like this too. I live in Arizona and I think I got the only version of my car thats not from Arizona but it was the right price and all of the parts out there that I need they make and they’re not that much
Love the 2 door post cars. I got a couple of 4 door 63s and a 63 wagon I cruise around locally. New Subscriber looking forward to seeing it on the road.
You got a bunch of four doors all you have is parts cars You don't really have much there they're good for the front clip and the trunk lid that's about it
Finding that car in that condition for $1200 is like hitting the lottery... It rarely happens anymore. I looked forever for a 55 in halfway decent condition for around 5k and ended up paying 10k for an unfinished 55 gasser. Fucking internet jacked up all the prices.
@@ziptiediaries9038 No way. That's awesome. Maybe next summer we will have to link up. I've got a 4 door 64 Bel Air all rust belt patina'd out. Also have a 63 SS but I'd like to just get rid of it honestly. Want to find another 64 2 door Impala roller.
Ditch the first 2 and a half minutes, they have nothing to do with this project. Patina is cool, airbags are lame. A little of the rock music for an intro and conclusion are fine but the entire 20 minutes of it made me start looking for a high bridge to jump off of. By the time I'd made it to the couple relevant minutes of trimming around floor braces, I'd lost interest in the project
Two-door post are good for 2 things The one make a convertible by a 63 or 64 Buick or Pontiac convertible use the tub and the windshield post find a completely rotted out 63 Impala convertible take the VIN tag off of it put it on that one now you have a 63 convertible Impala after 57 Bel air's are pieces of shit useless cars other than for parts
love it. always wanted a 62-63 with Supremes
